I have handled several industrial consultancy projects at IIT Bombay, like 1. Numerical analysis and design of
a sewer pipeline of 1m dia. and 5 km long, constructed by micro-tunneling technique. Additionally,
evaluation of the ground improvement by lime stabilization to reduce the settlement of the proposed sewer
pipeline. This project was assigned by M/s Noble Geo-Structs (NGS), Mumbai, Maharashtra. 2. Settlement
assessment and remedial solution for foundation system of Mound Storage Vessel (MSV) at the LPG bottling
plant of IOCL Dumad (Baroda, Gujrat, India) employing finite element-based software PLAXIS3D. This
project was assigned by the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. LPG Department, Gujrat State Office, Ahmedabad. 3.
Investigation of the impact of the proposed bullet train (between Mumbai and Ahmedabad) construction and
operation-induced ground-borne vibration on the important and sensitive structures at a site near Thane,
Maharashtra. The level of vibration was assessed at the level of foundation using the finite element-based
software PLAXIS 2D &3D and theoretical means. Further, remedial measures for mitigating the ground-
borne vibration were recommended. This project was assigned by Estela Enterprises Private Ltd., Pune,
Maharashtra. 4. Impact analysis of bullet train construction and operation-induced ground vibration on a
multi-storied data center building. The project was executed employing the finite element-based software
PLAXIS 2D &3D and theoretical analyses. This project was assigned by AECOM India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai,
Maharashtra. 5. Reviewed the structural and geotechnical impact of a thirty-storied high-rise residential
building on CoastalRoad Tunnels, near Malabar Hill, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The project was executed
employing the finite element-based software PLAXIS 3D. This project was assigned by M/s Nandanbala
Commercials Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. 6. Reviewed the geotechnical aspects related to a new
dispersal facility at Pune airport Lohegaon runway area. Checked the adequacy of the proposed concrete
pavement structure to support heavy aircraft. The project was executed by theoretical analysis and finite
element analysis in PLAXIS3D. This project was awarded by The Garrison Engineer (P) (AF) Lohegaon,
under the Military Engineer Services Department, Pune, Maharashtra. 7. Forensic geotechnical investigation
of demolition effect of an existing three-storied RCC structure and effect of an existing excavation on the
retaining wall of Alcon Stylus Society, Pune, Maharashtra, which failed during monsoon. The project was
assigned by M/s SVG Builders LLP, Pune, Maharashtra. 8. Review and vetting of Pile Design Calculation for
a 765KV transmission line tower foundation over the river Ganga. The project was assigned by Kalpataru
Power Transmission Limited, Gandhinagar, Gujrat.
