MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOWN TO ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS,

THIS AGREEMENT EXECUTED BY AND BETWEEN

KOLEHIYO NG LUNGSOD NG LIPA (KLL) located at Brgy, Dagatan, Lipa City represented by NSTP office,
herein after referred to as the FIRST PARTY.

BARANGAY SABANG located in Lipa City, represented by Punong Barangay, herein after referred to as the
SECOND PARTY.

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, Republic Act 9163, otherwise known as the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act

of 2001, recognizes the role of the youth in nation-building.

WHEREAS, The NSTP aims to enhance civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by

developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing the program.

WHEREAS, The Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) as one of the components of NSTP, consists of

activities contributory to the general welfare and betterment of life for the members of

the community and enhancement of its facilities.

WHEREAS, The Literacy Training Program (LTS) student-trainees after series of lectures, seminars

, and training will have to undergo at least 16 hours of community service.

WHEREAS, One of the groups of LTS student-trainees, the class of BSED 1-D will conduct of Literacy

program in Barangay Sabang, Lipa City with the help of barangay officials.

WHEREAS, The Literacy program will be conducted in the daycare center of barangay from May to

July.

WHEREAS, The FIRST PARTY and the SECOND PARTY agree to see to it that the student welfare is
secured.

WHEREAS, Both parties agree to work together for the betterment of the students and community.

IN WITNESS THEREFORE, WITH THE FOREGOING AGREEMENT, they affixed their signature this ___day of
