AFFIDAVIT

I, VERLE MAE PIMENTEL, Filipino, of legal age, single and residing at Telaje,
Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, under oath, state THAT:

1. I am the same person executing this affidavit;

2. I am a former vocalist of Valor Band of 36IB, stationed at Dayoan, Tago,

Surigao del Sur and a freelance singer now. As such, I am always into entertainment
industry engaged in most activities of Ms. Florence U. Abis being my close friend since
2012;

3. Sometime in 2014, I was informed by Angeli Geli Palomino, of Tandag City,

Surigao del Sur, through phone call that a certain Marygrace Caspe, of Kidapawan City,
posted in her Facebook wall account that she will let somebody kill me and Ms.
Florence U. Abis and let both of us float on the sea, and that she will pay P 5,000.00 to
the hit man. Immediately thereafter, I opened my Facebook account and indeed read
the post of Marygrace Caspe;

4. Sometime in 2014 also, Angeli Geli Palomino informed me that she received a
wrongly sent message from Marygrace Caspe which states that “Pareng hanapa kuman
yaon Verle Pimentel na laong ko sa imo pada ko da pic, taga Bislig City yaon pero
nganha kuman ga stay sa Tandag, go as far as Tago, Gamut and around that area
friend paniid naay, enrolled yaon dati sa polytechnic pero i’m not sure kun hantud
kuman, ill pay u thru smart padala or cash, texi ako sa new num, i update ako this week
pareng amo” (Dude, pls. look for Verle Pimentel the one i told you I will just send
you her picture, she is from Bislig City but now is staying in Tandag City, go as
far as Tago, Gamut and around that area, observe first, she is enrolled in
Polytechnic (SDSSU) but i’m not sure until now, i’ll pay you through smart
“padala” or cash, text me for her new number, update me this week, dude
please”;

5. Indeed, Marygrace Caspe has an intention to kill me and Ms. Florence U. Abis
as shown by her actuations;

6. In early part of 2015, Marygrace Caspe tried to apologize and reconcile with
me, but admitted her anger to Ms. Florence Abis, particularly on May 25, 2015, when
she texted me and admitted that after 4 days of her posts in Facebook regarding the
threat, she erased it immediately;

7. Marygrace keeps on calling and texting me anytime and told me often about
her anger to Ms. Florence Abis using cellular phone no. 09094231664, the same
number she used to send text messages threatening, humiliating and accusing Ms. Abis
in whatever she wanted to express in her messages;

8. I am executing this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts,

and to support the case for Grave Threats and Oral Defamation filed by Ms. Florence U.
Abis against Marygrace Caspe.
