During investigation we met IV User Mr. Nadar Monga and procured a
written statement from his and also made enquiry with his about
accident of insured vehicle.

IV User stated that he is the resident of 225/18, Oven Fresh Bakery,

Majitha Road, Amritsar. He is studying from Amity University, Mohali.

On 06/05/2023, around 5:45 AM to 6:15 AM he was coming from PGI

Brief Remarks of the accident
( Chandigarh ) and was going to his flat alone. When he reached at 15-16
sector lights, Chandigarh an accident occurred due to sudden braking at
lights and miscalculation. He bumped into someone’s cab and the vehicle
got damaged. There were no injuries to anyone. He was driving his
vehicle no. CH01CA1111. This incident was reported at Sector 11 Police
Station, Chandigarh. The car was taken over by police and it was
released by his father Mr. Kuljit Singh and it was handed over at KIA
Agency. Actual owner of this vehicle is his father’s relative named
Rupinder Kaur and is currently out of station. The car was taken by him
on 5th may from EK ONKAR BUILDERS near Ropar Toll Plaza at
Chandigarh – Ludhiana Highway Kharar. At present car is at KIA Agency
in same condition. The car’s authority is given to Kuljit Singh ( IV User’s
father ) by the respected owner.

Brief FIR / GD Narration Complainant Krishan stated that on 06/05/2023 he was going to his
home from Sector 15 Chd in his car no. T0323CH4969A. When he
reached at light point 15/16, he stopped due to red light. Suddenly a
car no. CH01CA1111 hit his car from right side behind. The car hit
from behind at a very high speed. Due to this collision, his vehicle
crossed the divider and hit the tree on the footpath. There was a lot of
damage to his car from the front and back. The driver of that vehicle
was drunk. Legal Actions should be taken against the driver.

We found IV User Mr. Nadar Monga possess a valid DL to drive

site and found it is valid to drive insured vehicle.

During our investigation we also checked the GPS timeline of IV

User’s handset and found it showed same travel history as brief by
him and also at the time of accident it showed his presence at
15/16 Light Point Chandigarh.

Observation / Findings During investigation
As per our investigation & enquiry we found that IV bearing Reg. no. CH01CA1111 met an accident on
06.05.2023 at 15/16 Light Point Chandigarh.

Accident occurred due to sudden braking at lights and miscalculation. IV User bumped into someone’s cab and
the vehicle got damaged.

We found IV User Mr. Nadar Monga possess a valid DL to drive the insured vehicle. We also checked his DL
status in online RTO site and found it is valid to drive insured vehicle.

During our investigation we also checked the GPS timeline of IV User’s handset and found it showed same travel
history as brief by him and also at the time of accident it showed his presence at 15/16 Light Point Chandigarh.
IV User stated No one was injured due to this accident.

According to the IV User, FIR is registered in P.S. Sector 11 Chandigarh.

Considering our investigation and enquiries we found that the accident of insured vehicle is Genuine.

We found IV User Mr. Nadar Monga possess a valid DL to drive the insured vehicle.

During our investigation we also checked the GPS timeline of IV User’s handset and found it showed same travel
history as brief by him and also at the time of accident it showed his presence at 15/16 Light Point, Chandigarh.

According to the IV User, FIR is registered in P.S. Sector 11 Chandigarh.

The claim hence be dealt as per terms and conditions of policy issued by you and DL extract.
