unfinished actions that started in the past and continue to the present (the present
perfect tense) and finished actions (past simple tense).

definite and the indefinite articles.
2) By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to choose between the present
perfect tense and the past simple tense.

1) By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to create new
sentences/paragraphs using the definite and indefinite articles in appropriate
places.
2) By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to compose a paragraph using
the past simple tense and the present perfect tense together and tell a short story.
