THESIS ABSTRACT

Digital gadgets are everywhere nowadays and it's nearly impossible to meet

someone who doesn't have a cellphone. Technology helps us in our daily lives, and we

are much better off using the current technology to entertain ourselves rather than the

old ways children used to play. However, entertainment comes with a price, and that

price is the decline of productivity in today's youth.

In this research paper, the researchers wanted to identify the impact of overusing

gadgets on the academic achievements of GAS-12 students in Saint Benilde

International School. This is relevant because, as the current generation is more

knowledgeable about the new gadgets, they should be aware of the effects and

downsides of using them too much.
