What is TikTok? As we all know, TikTok is not something strange or rarely heard by people
nowadays. For those people who doesn’t know, TikTok is a video-sharing application that let user
make short video in every topic or random and upload it to public. This application can’t only be
used on mobile, it also can be used by using the web app. TikTok can be said as popular and famous
media platform because it reaching billions of users worldwide and catching on so fast people that
download it. Moreover, TikTok doesn’t cost anything to install and it can be used for educational
purpose and business. In this topic, is it TikTok is an effective learning platform? The answer must be
yes because there are many reason.

First of all, one of the reasons why TikTok is an effective learning platform because you can
learn valuable information and skills by only use it. This application apparently used by many
students and teenagers so it makes sense to take chance for the social media platform to use this
app to be part of teaching plan. Students can search any information and pick their favourite tutor to
learn something such as most people usually watch Khairul Aming’s videos content to learn about
cooking. Many skills like cooking, baking, skincare tutorial and method of solving mathematics
problem you can learn effortlessly ‘everything is at your fingertips’.

Next, TikTok can be prove as an effective education platfrom by learn videography and
directing skills through TikTok. To be more clear, when people want upload their content, they will
automatically know all about video editing for example basic cutting. In this technology era,
important for human to have this knowledge because everywhere will involve the use of technology.
So, perents play an important role to teach children from little about technology. Hence, TikTok also
provide live video streaming which is can make people share new knowledge like education topic
more easier. Viewers just need to ask something at the comment section if they have any problem.

Besides, this application can make learning more easier and student no longer feel boring to
study something because it only provide short video. Especially for teachers that have to faced the
difficult task of teaching virtually. Teachers can find the topic that they gonna teach students and
make sure pick that seems engaging. Moreover, if students not understand something teachers can
directly share a TikTok video about that topic. For students that missed some lesson, you also can
study by TikTok video. Not only that, learning more easier also means if you have any problem, you
only need to find the solution through this application. It will display many way to deal with the
problem that you have to face.
 In conclusion, from the statement above we can see that TikTok is truly effective learning
platform because only by using it, we increase knowledge about technology. We know that this
application is available for all age and everybody can share their experience. So, people can learn
something good or moral from their video. Therefore it’s wrong if we deny that TikTok not
immediately useful for education purpose. Sometimes if we open this app some video appear about
knowledge or education. From that, a lot of good benefit we can get from TikTok application.
