INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND

The plan should guide the LEA’s use of education technology for the next three years.

The Yeni Nesil School in Ashgabat is starting on a three-year technology plan to improve
the educational experience of its students. With a focus on integrating technology into
teaching and learning, our aim is to provide students with a learning environment suitable
for the digital age. . We hope to provide our students with the skills they need to succeed in
an increasingly connected and technologically advanced world by using the power of
technology.

Describe how a variety of stakeholders from within the LEA and the community-at-large
participated in the planning process.
LEA and the wider community.
List of Stakeholders from LEA:
● Principal: The principal of the Yeni Nesil School took a leadership role in the
planning process. Provided valuable insight, vision and direction for the Technology
plan aligned with the school's overall goals and mission
● IT Department:The IT department within the LEA played an important role in the
planning process. The existing technology infrastructure of the school brought
technical expertise and knowledge on hardware, software and security systems
● Teachers and Instructional staff:They are important stakeholders in this planning
process. Teachers and Instructional staff active participation has helped identify
instructional goals, strategies and resources that will increase student engagement
and success.

Summarize the relevant research and describe how it supports the plan's curricular and
professional development goals.

Technology plays an important role in both teaching and learning. If technology is used
effectively, it can provide more access to resources, make teaching and learning more
effective, and increase administrative efficiency. The use of technology in schools supports
the traditional classroom environment, opens the classroom to the outside world and
symbolizes the success of the student (Gülbahar, Y. 2007) When it comes to technology,
the lessons are different for students. Students like visual examples rather than just reading,
and their interest in the lesson increases. When there is technology in teaching, it makes
lessons such as finding different resources and doing different activities productive.
Recently, online classes are very common, students are attending online classes for
certification.Technology is used as a tool to improve the learning process.(.Raja, R., &
Nagasubramani, P. C. 2018)

CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.

The Plan must establish clear goals and realistic strategy for using telecommunications
and information technology to improve education services.

Describe teachers' current access to instructional technology and current use of digital
tools.
❖ What technology is currently available to all teachers?

All teachers at Yeni Nesil School have access to a variety of technological tools. Such as
smartphones, computers and Ipad, to access digital content, educational programs, and
communication tools. Additionally, computers and smart boards are available in every
classroom on campus. For easy access to online resources, both teachers and students have
access to high-speed internet access. High-speed internet connection is provided for all
teachers and students.
❖ How does technology assist teachers and principals with their administrative tasks,
attendance and grading?
Teachers at Yeni Nesil Public School actively use a variety of digital tools to improve
classroom education and manage school administration.Teachers use such as Google
Classroom for communicating with students, sharing assignments, and evaluating them.
Zoom for distance learning and online lectures or for live video conferences. Kahoot is used
for classroom competitions, surveys and exams or quizes. And they use online workbook
applications. Administrators use technology such as student enrolment and registration,
attendance monitoring, and parent communication.
Describe students' current access to instructional technology and current use of digital
tools. Include a description about the LEA policy, practices, and/or replacement policy that
ensures equitable technology access for all students.
❖ Is technology currently available to all students?
In general, all students have smartphones, some have their own personal computers and
some have Ipads.
❖ Do all student groups have equal and appropriate access to the available
technology?
All classrooms in the school are equipped with computers equipped for student use.
Students have access to the school's high-speed internet network.
There are also computer labs for students to use.
❖ How do students use existing digital tools?
Yeni Nesil School students use digital tools actively to improve their learning experience.
All classrooms in the school are equipped with computers for student use. Students can
prepare their homework , research, and prepare presentations by using the school's high-
speed internet. There are also computer labs for students to use. Students can use computers
either before or after the lesson.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for using technology to
improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align to the LEA's curricular goals
that are supported by other plans. Describe how the LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these
goals, and whether future funding proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful
implementation.
❖ What are the goals and an implementation plan for using technology to improve
teaching and learning?
This plan aims to use technology effectively to improve teaching and learning. Using
technology, teachers can teach more effectively and support teachers in integrating
technology when needed. In this plan, 1 lesson is given to teachers every 3 months, the
content of the lesson is the introduction of the new technology tool and how it will be
integrated or how teachers can use it in the class.
To encourage students to study and improve their digital skills by actively using technology.
Active participation of the students in the lessons and arranging a technology project for
them and improving their digital skills.

❖ How do these goals align with the LEA's curriculum goals supported by other plans?
Answer 2: Yeni Nesil's technology use goals are in line with the LEA's curriculum goals
supported by other plans. The school's curriculum goals are to enable students to learn more
effectively, develop their creativity, encourage collaborative skills, and support in-depth
understanding.

and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the classroom.
❖ What are the goals set for Internet Safety and Appropriate and Ethical Use of
Technology in the Classroom?
To Inform students about internet security
To encourage students to use technology ethically and responsibly.
To ensure that teachers use the internet in an ethical way in the classroom.
To inform parents about internet safety.
❖ Question 2: How do the objectives of Internet Safety and Appropriate and Ethical
Use of Technology in the Classroom align with the curriculum objectives of the
LEA?
Safe and appropriate ethical use of technology in the classroom, as well as awareness of
internet safety and ethical use, enable students to protect themselves in the digital world and
make the right decisions. This is in line with the LEA's overall goals of raising students as
safe and responsible digital citizens.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT

The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff
understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services

Summary of the teachers and administrators current technology proficiency and integration
skills and needs for professional develop
❖ What are the current technology skills and integration skills of teachers and
administrators?
The current technology skills of teachers and administrators are different. Each teacher can
easily use the school's application. Teachers have the ability to prepare online exams for
students or download videos about the lesson or play online games for students when
needed, and teach them lessons on online applications.Administrators can also have a
responsibility to keep their technology skills up to date Administrators announce events or
news to students on the application. They also use school applications.
❖ What are the professional development needs of teachers and administrators?
To gain greater confidence and competence in technology integration.
To learn new technology tools and applications and to use them effectively in the classroom.
To update their knowledge and skills on internet safety and ethical use.

professional development opportunities based on your LEA needs assessment data and the
Curriculum Component of the plan.
❖ What are the current technology skills and integration needs of teachers and
administrators?
Teachers and administrators are currently making good use of technology skills and
integration.Every day technology grows. Teachers need to renew or update the technology
tools they use. That's why support is needed, so each teacher should attend the seminar that
will be arranged for them once in 3 months.

❖ How will the professional development activities support the LEA's curriculum
goals?
Professional development activities in the Technology plan will be supported with the goals
of the LEA. Our objective is to develop teachers' technology skills, then integrate
technology into the classroom in a way that makes teaching and learning more effective. For
example, our activities include innovative teaching strategies, digital content creation, online
evaluation tools and data-based teaching.

INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND


ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA

The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services, hardware,


software, asset management, and other services that will be needed to improve
education services.

Describe the existing hardware, Internet access, electronic learning resources, technical
support, and asset management already in the LEA that will be used to support the
Curriculum and Professional Development Components of the plan.
❖ What technologies are available to facilitate home/school communication such as e-
mail, web pages, and voicemail?
At the beginning of the school term, a parent meeting is held and the school system
application is introduced at that time. This application works on all smartphones. Separate
for parents. In order to inform the status of the student, parents are taught how to install the
school application on the phone and explain how it works. In the application, the student's
attendance, lecture notes, arrival and departure times are activities. A student's own account
is created and everything that belongs to the student is reported in the application, such as
lectures, lecture notes, assignments, projects, school activities, holidays. An account is
created within the teacher from the same application, and a separate daşboard is created for
the student, for a separate school, by directly reaching the parent, and an email is created.
❖ What technology access do parents have at home? Which technologies do parents
prefer for home/school communication?
Parents have smart phones, some parents have both a computer and a tablet. This is enough
for our plan. Before starting school, parents are informed that the internet is a must to
follow the children's school and lessons.

Describe the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and


telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical support, and asset
management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and administrators to support the
activities in the Curriculum and Professional Development components of the plan.
❖ What technology is needed to implement the Curriculum and Professional
Development components for students and staff?
to implement the Curriculum and Professional Development component effectively
following technology are needed: Computer,Smartphone,Internet
❖ Can existing equipment be modified to meet certain needs identified in the plan?
Maybe not all students have smartphones or computers. Students who do not have a phone
and are not in a good financial situation should be helped.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT

The plan must include an evaluation process that enables the school to monitor
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in response to new
developments and opportunities as they arise.

Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on teaching and
learning.
❖ What technology is needed to implement the Curriculum and Professional
Development components for students and staff?
Phone and Computer for students and teachers. In classrooms, a computer, smart board or
projector, scanner or printer can be used. 2 computer rooms for studying

❖ Will students and teachers be able to access their work from anywhere in the school
or from home?
Of course, every student and teacher can prepare their lesson at home. He can connect to the
school's application from anywhere and check. However, students who do not have a
computer can access the necessary resources in the computer rooms before or after the
lesson..
Describe the schedule for evaluating the effect of plan implementation, including a
description of the process and frequency of communicating evaluation results to tech plan.
❖ What indicators of success will be used to evaluate whether implementation of the
plan has made a positive impact on student achievement?
The student's academic success can be evaluated to clearly find out whether the
Technology plan has been successful. This can be evaluated by conducting a survey at the
beginning and end of the semester. It is possible to learn how effective the plan is by
preparing a survey with questions such as participation in the course, technology integration
of exam results, student feedback and similar questions.

Stakeholders, Principal, IT department, teachers and teachers staff who prepared the
technology plan for the survey evaluation process.
