SUMMARY:

1. Reference: a) Annual Procurement Budget (APB) for CY 2023

b) Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) Year 2023

2. Above reference pertains to the allocated budget intended for Pre Departure
Inspection Training (PDI) tentatively schedule on 13-24 March 2023.

3. The said course aims to enhance the knowledge of the district personnel
including Station and Sub-station Commanders to prescribe the policies and
procedures for the conduct of pre departure inspection of all merchant vessels at
domestic ports for the safety standards prescribed by existing policies, rules and
regulations.

4. In this connection, this Office intends to conduct Pre Departure Inspection to

CGDCV personnel at Hawanan ni Lapu-Lapu on the abovementioned date.

5. Anent thereto, request for the availability of funds amounting to Eighty One
Thousand and Thirty Five Pesos (P81,035.00) for the materials broken down as
follows:

COORDINATION

6. Coordination has been made with the following offices for the conduct of the said
training:

a) Maritime Safety Services Command (MSSC) through the attached letter to

Commander. Maritime Safety Services Command requesting for instructors.

b) District Support Group (DSG) for availability of Hawanan ni Lapu-lapu and CO,

c) D4 and D6 for the budgetary requirements.

CONCLUSION

7. In this regard, D12 respectfully recommends the following:

a) Approval of the conduct of Pre Departure Inspection Course Class 01-2023,

b) Availability and subsequent release of funds amounting to Eighty One

Thousand and Thirty Five Pesos (P81,035.00) chargeable against CGDCV
APB 2023, Maritime Safety Program under Maritime Safety Related Trainings.

c) Signature of Commander, CGDCV on the following attachments:

c.1) Letter request to Commander, MSSC

c.2) Directives for the list of students

d) Availability of fund for the reimbursement of tarpaulin 6x10ft size amounting One
Thousand eight Hundred Pesos (P1,800.00) chargeable against CGDCV APB
2023;
