“To memorize the vocabulary of vegetables in the classroom”

Aim
 Students will learn how to pronounce the vocabularies.
 Students will learn how to ask a question.
 Students will learn how to paint with vegetable.

Warmer
Firstly, we will have to make “Greeting” to know each other.

And then sing and dance with the song of “Vegetables”

Vocabularies
1. Lady’s finger/Okra 2. Chilli

3. Potatoes 4. Radish

5. Brinjal/Aubergine 6. Onion

7. Cauliflower 8. Cabbage

Presentation
After warmer, present each flashcard to the students. Show the flashcards to them
clearly and let them say repeat and repeat to memorize. And then check the
students can pronounce correctly or not and ask them the vocabularies.

Practice
Practice the vocabularies with the dialogue below using the following format.

Teacher/Teacher (3 times), Teacher/Student (3 times), Student/Teacher (3 times),


Student/Student (3 times).

Q-1 : What is it?

A-1 : It is a chilli.

Q-2 : Do you like onion?

A-2 : Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

Q-3 : What is your favourite veggie?

A-3 : My favourite veggie is potato .


Production – 1
Playing game

All the students will sit in a circle. One of the students will stay in the middle of the
circle of the circle and he/she will be blindfolded his/her eyes with hands. At that
time the teacher will open the music and other students give the flashcard one by
one. They will quickly pass their card around. Once the music stops, they will
quickly hide the flashcard in their back. At that time, the blindfolded student will
guess and ask to the other students one by one “May I have a cauliflower please?”
If the student has the flashcard, say “Yes, of course” If the student doesn’t have
the flashcard, say “I’m sorry”.

Production – 2
Playing game

Teacher will stick the flashcards on the wall. All the students will sit on a chair and
teacher will call two students. If the teacher said “Chilli”, two students run quickly
and touch the correct flashcard.

Production – 3
Painting with Lady’s Finger

The teacher will show the real lady’s finger to the students. And let the students
paint with the half of lady’s finger on the paper. For example:
Wrap-Up
We will pronoun “Lady’s Finger” and other vegetables while painting.
