“Topic: Consumption of social media”


Ans. (1).
The dependent variable in the topic of consumption of social media will depend
on the specific research question and hypothesis being investigated.

For example, if the research question is "Does the frequency of social media use
impact mental health?", the dependent variable would be the measure of mental
health (such as anxiety, depression, or self-esteem).
If the research question is "How does social media use affect brand loyalty?", the
dependent variable would be the measure of brand loyalty (such as intention to
purchase or willingness to recommend).

The independent variables in this topic can be demographic factors such as age,
gender, income, education, or psychological factors such as personality traits,
social influence, and self-esteem.

The objectives of research on consumption of social media can be:

1. Understanding the patterns and trends of social media usage among


different demographics and cultures.

2. Investigating the impact of social media use on individuals' behavior,
