You are the Hotel manager at a brand new hotel called ‘Imagine Hotel’- PO Box 1500, GC Mail Centre
QLD 9726. You need to create the two documents below (typed), ensuring they are created with a
view to become templates in the hotels document style guide. You need to review and edit the final
documents, same font, font size, and format, include logos and be a formal presentable document.

a) Reservation confirmation
b) Guest message

Organisational requirements:

 Typed, with appropriate letterheads etc. designed by you


 Spelling must be 100% accurate using the help function
 Grammar and punctuation must be correct
 Tone of the correspondence must be clear and concise
 Save an electronic copy of each document

a) Reservation Confirmation Letter

Penelope Jones, the reservations manager needs a confirmation letter for the following booking. Mr &
Mrs Simple, 4/25 Trickett Street, Surfers Paradise Qld 4217.A three (3) night booking for a family room
for two adults and three children. The room rate is $180.00 per night which includes breakfast. Arrival
date to be a future date xx/xx/20xx. A deposit of 10% is required for confirmation and payable on credit
card.
Create a formal letter in a word document that includes the hotel logo and contact information.
Print the reservation confirmation letter and attach to your assessment.

b) Guest Message

Create a guest message for Mr Peters Room 1150 advising him that the airline called and they have
found his luggage and will send it to the hotel, between 2pm and 4pm this afternoon.
The message is to be delivered to the guest’s room
