Reference number: 094S0254 40

Every transfer starts with a gripper closing

i (transfer start) and ends with a gripper open-
ing (transfer end).

Condition:
- Enter a sheet thickness of 0,1mm in the cen- 1
tral control consol.
Adjustment:
- Position the machine to 356°.
- Insert the feeler gauge 1.15mm between the
gripper opening cam (2) and the cam follower
(1).
- Check the pretension of the gripper
- Set the gripper free to the gripper pad.
- Set the grippers with 0,03mm Japan paper. 2 7K06_35

Setting the pretension of the grippers

X
Gripper pre-tension: 80 N = 3.5 mm spacing
between the clamping piece and the case

The distance (X) is theoretical and only in-

i tended for the purposes of pre-setting.
Fluctuations in tolerances may lead to devia-
tions.
3
The pre tension of the gripper must always
be checked with a spring balance.

Setting the torsion bar

The torsion bar holds the roller lever on the 1 2
gripper opening cam.
3
For cushioning purposes the torsion bar (3) is
guided in individual polyamide rings.
The bracket for the torsion spring (3) is pinned
to the gripper shaft on the B-side.
The pre-tension in the torsion bar is set with the
aid of a torque wrench, accommodated and
supported in the hexagon hole in the gripper
shaft (A-side).

i There is a grub screw to secure the worm (1).

Setting: 4
- Position the machine so that the gripper shaft
is accessible from above.
- Remove the grub screw at the worm drive.
- Turn the worm (1) anti-clockwise until the
pretension has been released from the tor-
sion bar.
- Set a torque wrench to the corresponding
torque.
- Attach the torque wrench and an adapter
SW12/13 (note picture 7K06_75) to the roller
lever (4).
- Turn the worm (1) in clockwise direction with 7K06_33
the Allen key until the required torque is
reached.
- Mount the grub screw at the worm drive.
