BOARD RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL UNDER THE NAME, THE PREMIER
ACADEMY OF ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY, INC. IN LAOAG CITY WITH AN ADDRESS AT DLS 2
BLDG. BONIFACIO AVE.COR. M.V. STREET, BRGY. 9 STA. ANGELA, LAOAG CITY, ILOCOS NORTE,
PHILIPPINES, 2900.
Philosophy: Teaching is vital to the development of the society; Creating a student-
centered classroom that leads them to be experts in dealing real-world problems and discover
the value of knowledge.
WHEREAS, The Premier Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc. recognizes education as a
fundamental right necessary for the growth of an individual and the development of society;
WHEREAS, Sec. 1 Article XIV, of the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines provides, The
State shall promote the right of all citizens to quality education at all levels of education and
shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to all;
WHEREAS, The Premier Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc., a private institution to
offer the K-12 Basic Curriculum specifically the Senior High School level;
WHEREAS, The Premier Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc. will offer the following
Academic Tracks and Technical-Vocational Livelihood programs:
1. Academic Tracks
1.1 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)
1.2 Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
1.2.1 Pre-Baccalaureate Maritime
2. Technical-Vocational Livelihood Track
2.1 Information and Communication Technology
2.2 Home Economics (Food and Beverage Services NC II; Bread and Pastry NC II)
WHEREAS, The Premier Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc. shall ensure employment
for graduate students and creates the following job opportunities which is in line with their
finished strand:

 Standard requirements will be applied to make sure graduates know enough to

be hirable;
 Be able to apply for TESDA Certificates of Competency (COCs) and National
Certificates (NCs) to provide them with better work opportunities.
 Partnerships with different companies will be offered for technical and
vocational courses.
 They can get work experience while studying; and companies can even hire them
after they graduate.
WHEREAS, The Premier Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc. prospective students are
the upcoming grade 11 and 12 students starting this school year 2023-2024 from all the Cities
and Municipalities of Ilocos Norte.
WHEREAS, The Premier Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc. is situated at 4 th fl., DLS 2
Bldg., Bonifacio, Cor. M.V. St., Brgy. 9 Sta. Angela, Laoag City with its neighboring schools about
500 meters away which offers different Strands and Tracks from the existing schools.
WHEREAS, the Department of Education, through Deped Order No. 40, s. 2014, titled
“Establishment, Merging, Conversion and Naming/Renaming of the Public Schools, and
Separation of Public School Annexes in Basic Education,” and with the Guidelines provided
under the said DepEd Order, requires a Resolution supporting the establishment and naming of
a school, before it gives recognition to an independent private education institution;
WHEREAS, the present school shall be named as The Premier Academy of Arts and
Technology, Inc. and shall be referred as such henceforth.
 RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to support the establishment of The Premier
Academy of Arts and Technology, Inc., a private school for Senior High School and shall be
located at Brgy. 9 Sta. Angela, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, 2900.

We hereby certify the correctness of the above Resolution on its 1 st Regular Session,
held on the 23rd day of June, 2023 at the Premier Academy of Arts and Technology meeting hall.
