CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT TEACHING

● English is one of the most spoken languages worldwide, therefore being able to establish
communications in English is very important in several areas, for example English is a
fundamental help for work, because it allows the person to know more than the everyday and
so the person can learn much more, in the same way this allows that there will be many doors
and opportunities in the workplace.

● Similarly, teaching English is crucial in new technologies, because day after day we live in a
more technologically updated world, therefore it is very important to know how to manage in
these aspects.

● English will have doors in the economic, labor, and even in the cultural, because when there
is communication between people from different countries it is possible to know more in
depth and depth the different nationalities, customs and traditions of each people or country.

● When creating a good learning environment for English skills, it is not only the use of
material or activities that must be taken into account but also the attitude of the teacher and
how he/she handles his/her students in the right way. For example, if developing a short oral
lesson to boost speaking, the teacher should avoid interrupting the student and give correct
feedback at the end, without saying comments that leave the student in an embarrassing
situation in front of the class.

● In collaborative work, the teacher should not overlook the monitoring by each group of
students to check if they are working fairly and effectively. Many times, there is a tendency to
form work groups and not help or guide them in the process of their work, which cannot bring
good learning results.

● To teach reading effectively, it is highly recommended to get out of the students' comfort
zones. For example, the readings that are applied in class only involve a context of home and
school, where the vocabulary can be very repetitive and not good. So it is very good to change
readings, you can read about something related to science, specific cultures, entertainment,
trends, or arts, so you are nurturing the vocabulary of your students.
● Don't forget that children and their attention is very limited. So it is recommended to use a lot
of visual and auditory material, with short sentences or keywords. Avoid giving a speech
about something because they will get bored very soon, and be very didactic and energetic.

● Don't encourage the thought that an evaluation is something scary. Especially with children,
to find out if they are developing their speaking skills, don't just use paper and pencil to take a
test, but apply other activities. It can be with games, for example, that among the whole grade
make a super easy dramatization or appropriate to their level, they love to dress up and be
authentic with their imagination that will surprise you.

● These skills are important such as —reading, writing, listening, and speaking—are
interconnected and complement each other. Developing proficiency in all four areas is
essential for effective communication and overall English language competence. Practice,
exposure to English in different contexts, and engaging in interactive activities are crucial for
improving these skills.
