Subject: Request for Course Change to Mass Communication

Dear Director,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I Adewale Adepoju is writing to inform
you of my intention to Apply for a change of course from Law to Mass Communication at Bowen
University. After serious consideration and self-reflection, I have concluded that Mass
Communication aligns more closely with my academic interests and career aspirations of becoming a
Journalist in the future.

I unfortunately did not secure admission into the Law program. While this initially came as a
disappointment, I had already taken the time to reassess my strengths, interests, and long-term
goals prior to the announcement, looking back I have come to terms with the possibility of it being a
sign from God seeing as how I didn’t meet the cut off mark for Law.

Mass Communication has always intrigued me, and I strongly believe that it will provide me with a
platform to make a meaningful impact in society. I have a natural affinity for effective
communication, writing articles. I am confident that a degree in Mass Communication will equip me
with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in this field considering it’s from Bowen University,
one of the Biggest Universities in Nigeria.

I have thoroughly researched the Mass Communication program offered at Bowen University and
believe that it is an ideal fit for my academic and career aspirations. The program's comprehensive
curriculum, esteemed faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have further solidified my decision to
pursue this course of study. I am confident that the university's commitment to academic excellence
will provide me with a friendly and intellectually stimulating environment.
I kindly request your assistance in guiding me through the process of changing my course to Mass
Communication. I understand that there may be certain administrative procedures to fulfill, and I am
more than willing to comply with any requirements or recommendations set forth by the university.
