Entrepreneurship is about taking and bearing risks and uncertainties, the


constant search for innovation, starting a new venture, and gaining profit and
personal rewards.
Becoming an entrepreneur inevitably involves business, marketing, and
finance skills; however, many do not realize the value that their own skills can also
contribute to running a company. Some never finished college. Some are in
constant search for innovation and use their creativity for introducing something
new in the market in the most unique way. While many assume the entrepreneur
is simply synonymous with being a business owner, the right mindset and
perseverance are the more telling signs of entrepreneurial success.
One of the best things about pursuing a career using the learned
Entrepreneurship skills, although one is not a graduate of the course but comes
from other fields such as arts, sports, and technical vocational training is wide
open. There are rooms in many industries throughout the Philippines and other
countries for Entrepreneurship such as India, Brazil, Dubai the US, or Kenya.
Many industries contributed to the growth of the Philippine Economy:
1. Manufacturing
2. Personal and Household goods
3. Construction where the main driver of growth for the year.
4. Services recorded the fastest growth
5. Trade and repair of motor vehicles
6. Industry ( agriculture, hunting, forestry, and fishing )
Entrepreneurship and innovation are increasingly becoming an important
part of the world of work and should be considered as a career options for those in
the Arts Tracks either in new venture creation or careers in existing
Entrepreneurial ventures.

c) Graphic Designer
d) Jewelers and Precious Stone and Metal Workers

3. Students having a hard time choosing the Best Technical-Vocational
Livelihood strand for them, they find it hard, they need to learn what TVL track
strand works for them.
Choosing among the strand and acquire job-ready skills under the TVL

b) Home economics Strand - Attractions and Theme Parks Operations with
Ecotourism, barbering, bartending, Local Guiding Services, travel
services.

Rice Machinery Operations, Rubber Processing and Production.
d) Industrial Arts Strand - Automotive Servicing, Carpentry, Electric Power
Distribution Line Construction

1. Economic and dynamic activity - Entrepreneurship is an economic
activity because it involves the creation and operation of an enterprise with
a view to creating value or wealth by ensuring optimum utilization of limited
resources.
2.Innovative - Entrepreneurs constantly look for new ideas, thus he
needs to be creative.
3. Profit Potential - The entrepreneur can be compensated by his profit
coming from the operation.
4. Risk bearing – The entrepreneur needs to gamble but wise enough
to offset the risk.

Types of Entrepreneurs
1. Innovative entrepreneur - They are those who always make new things by
thinking of new ideas. They have the ability to think newer, better and more
economical ideas.
2. Imitating entrepreneurs - They are those who don’t create new things but
only follow the ideas of other entrepreneurs.
3. Fabian entrepreneurs - They are skeptical about changes to be made in
the organization. They don’t initiate but follow only after they are satisfied.
4. Drone entrepreneur - They are those who lives on the labor of others. They
are die-hard conservatives even ready to suffer the loss of business.
5. Social entrepreneurs - They are those who initiate changes and drive social
innovation and transformation in the various fields such as education, health,
human rights, environment and enterprise development.
