Grade 3 and 4

Technology is moving at an incredible pace. The years to come

will bring impressive technological breakthroughs with a massive impact on
our lives, markets, and societies. In our connected world, with the
unprecedented level of information, knowledge, and ideas exchange,
innovation is happening continuously, at scale, and in several forms.
The class activity ‘Innovation in Computers’ was conducted for Grades 3 and 4
th
on 28 October 2022 during the CT period. The theme of the activity is to Identify
problems, think, plan and design and formulate solutions for systems and
organizations.
The objective of the activity is to apply design methods, to
develop innovative solutions to answer
the potential needs and meet the design
specification.
Students took part in this activity with
enthusiasm. Excellent Smartwatches with innovative designs
were made by grade 3 students. New ideas created by students
have the potential to positively impact society.

What suggestions do you have for future improvements to smartphones? was the
question posed to grade 4 students. Students used sketch pens to create smartphones
on A4-sized paper, and additional features that would make the phones smarter were
also suggested by them.
