Grade 7 Statistics Curriculum Map

The document outlines the curriculum map for 7th grade mathematics focusing on statistics for the 4th quarter of the 2022-2023 school year at St. James School of Subic. It includes 10 learning competencies covering key concepts of statistics such as data collection, measures of central tendency, variability, and probability. Students will apply these statistical skills to solve real-world problems and make informed decisions. Assessment methods involve multiple choice, constructed response, and performance tasks to evaluate students' understanding and ability to transfer statistical knowledge to new situations.

CURRICULUM MAP
SCHOOL YEAR 2022-2023

GRADE LEVEL: 7 QUARTER: 4

CONTENT: Statistics
CONTENT STANDARD: The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts, uses and importance of Statistics, data collection/gathering and the different
forms of data representation, measures of central tendency, measures of variability, and probability.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner is able to collect and organize data systematically and compute accurately measures of central tendency and variability and
apply these appropriately in data analysis and interpretation in different fields.
FORMATION STANDARD: The learner is to become critical and creative problem solvers as they show a sense of integrity and perseverance as they solve self-
determined and real-life problems involving statistics.
TRANSFER GOAL: The students will be able to apply knowledge and skills of statistics at home, in school, and in the community. Also, for the students to
solve routine and non-routine real-life problems using statistics.
PERFORMANCE TASK:
ENDURING UNDERSTANDING: ESSENTIAL QUESTION:
Students will understand that key concepts of statistics are useful tools in solving real- How do statistics facilitate in finding solutions to real – life problems and making
