Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of variation and radicals.

Transfer Goal: Students will be able find the meaning when they compare and contrast relationship between various things in real life and decide
accordingly; and balance various things that are happening and will happen in their lives.
Performance In public schools, year-end performance indicators are very important in assessing the stakeholders’ performances. You are the
Task: school’s statistician who is in-charge of the year-end performance indicators. You will be given raw data and the definition of
performance indicators and you will compute for the different performance indicators based on your interpretation of the definition and
the data given. Then, you need to submit a written report on the year-end performance indicator of your school and this report will be
presented to the teachers who will double check the computation. The report must reflect the accuracy of data and appropriateness of
the type ratio, proportion and variation concept used. Finally, you will be asked to defend your report on any question that will raised by
a panel of interrogators.

Meaning Making: Students will understand that two variables/quantities can be relate to each other directly or inversely; and relationships that exist
between real-world quantities involving variations can be modeled, thus, solved using a variety of strategies.
