ACTIVITY SHEET 4.1
DIRECTION: To learn more about what community or customers’ needs are, product need
assessment survey is important. The results of the survey then guide future action.
Generally, the needs that are rated most important are the ones that get addressed.

We conducted an online survey to assess the needs of our target market and to get their
thoughts about our initial product.

*Based on the result of the survey, 90% of our respondents are of age 17-19, also many
didn’t vote for the ube flavor so we decided to eliminate it and add the most suggested
flavor, the matcha flavor.

-The best product that will meet the need of our target is the jelly drink of different
flavors.

- Since it is summer season and people of this age group are into trendy drinks like
this, we decided to make the jelly drink as our final product.
ACTIVITY SHEET 7.1

DIRECTIONS: Make your own Marketing Mix (7P’s)

Our product are jelly drinks of different flavors. The flavors include
PRODUCT cookies and cream, coffee jelly, choco jelly, mango, buko
pandan. Strawberry, cathedral flavor, and matcha flavor
We would advertise it mainly through the internet due the
current situation. We would make it available to the people of
PLACE General Mariano Alvarez and even near towns as long as the
meet-up is on GMA.
We still haven’t concluded a final price but the price range
PRICE would be Php 50- Php 80 considering that each flavor requires
different ingredients of different prices.
We would promote our product through the internet because of
the current situation. We would create a Facebook page for our
PROMOTION product. We would advertise mainly using a product video and
a product poster.
We have two people on our marketing team, Marc and Jella.
We also have two people on our production team, Charles and
PEOPLE Rosa. We have one assigned on finance, Emman. Our customers
would be our target market, mainly are our friends, relatives, and
even strangers.
We would put our beverage into 300 ml. otso pet bottles. We
PACKAGING would put a sticker of our logo in these containers.
It is mainly about mixing ingredients. We would mix condensed
POSITIONING milk, all-purpose cream, water, and flavored powders or
(PROCESS) flavored sweeteners depending on the flavor. We would then
cook jellies of different flavors and mix it with the flavored drinks.

I understand that potential market is the part of the total population that has shown some
level of interest in buying a particular product or service. Market identification is the
strategic marketing method that defines the detailed customer of the product. There are
three strategic marketing methods that will assist the entrepreneur in defining the specific
market of the product, this is market segmentation, market targeting, and market
segment selection.

I realize that analyzing the potential market, target market and available market as well
as the market needs is done in a detailed manner so giving more time doing it is essential
to make sure the enterprise to be successful, research should be done twice as many
times more than making a business plan.

I need to learn more about the practical application of these competencies and
learnings about market and market needs.
