Time management- arrive 30 minutes before time

Personal hygiene

Students should maintain high standards of hygiene

1. Wash your hands

2. Brush your teeth 2-3 times a day
3. Bathe daily
4. Wash your hair daily
5. Wear clean well pressed uniform

Practical

a) Students who fail to show up for practical shall face disciplinary action
b) Plan well before practical and submit written plans to the trainer in advance
c) Equipment and material containers should be cleaned and dried appropriately
d) Each student should carry 12 cleaning clothes
e) Students to correctly display cleaning equipment and materials in relation to their work
area
f) Fill requisition forms well, signed and confirm the items well before leaving the store
g) Student to interpret well the theme in housekeeping practical
h) Students should bring correct number of articles with correct specifications as follows:

Articles to be laundered in laundry

i. DCAM 1-two articles for washing and one for finishing

ii. CCA II -three articles per section for washing and two for finishing in each section
iii. DCAM II- three articles each section for washing and three articles per section for
finishing

Uniform

Ladies: Sky blue dress and a white skirt

Men sky blue Kaunda suit

Black leathers hoes low heeled rubber sole
