I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, 80% of the students should be able to
attain 85% proficiency of the following:
1. Determine marking tools used for marking the fabric;
2. Mark the fabric; and
3. Appreciate the importance of properly marking the fabric.

Directions: Given all the materials, you should be able to transfer
pattern markings to the fabric following the procedure and guidelines
in transferring pattern marks.

Supplies/Materials : Fabric, Tracing wheel, tailor’s chalk,


dressmaker’s carbon paper

Students will be graded using a rubrics.

E. Generalization
 With the use of marking tools, it is important to properly transfer
all pattern symbols and other important markings from the pattern
to the fabric. It will ensure that when it comes to sewing, you won’t
miss important instructions.
