Introduction
From the give question we identify qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods
research which is the researcher use phonological, survey and a sequential,
exploratory mixed designs respectively. Phonology is to have in-depth
description of a lived experience. Survey is types of descriptive research .
Sequential, exploratory design which is better suited to explaining and
interpreting relationships, capturing the lived experiences.

Conclusion

This research questions have different purposes for the group. On the bench
mark of the study which is indicated earlier,the research has the following
objectives

1. Helps to identify the research design determine the research questions


and its data tools
2. To identify the best research design for different events.
3. To identify the most appropriate research design that helps to develop
new theory.

regarding technology and college readiness

From a qualitative study of perceptions of first-year college students regarding


technology and college readiness the researcher used three research questions
as listed below:

1. What are first-year college students’ perceptions of the relationship between


their high school 1:1 laptop experiences and their readiness for college?

2. What are first-year college students’ perceptions of the uses of technology for

instructional purposes by high school teachers?

3. What are first-year college students’ perceptions of the uses of technology for

instructional purposes by college professors?

The researchrused a phenomenological research designused to explain first-


year college students’ perceptions of the effects of a 1:1 laptop experience on
their readiness for college and the uses of technology for instructional purposes
by high school teachers and college professors.

From the research questions and the researcher personal, work background
experiences and his position as a high school principal that moved his school
which helps to minimize any personal bias on the results of this study so the
design is appropriate. Because of phenomenological study looks to describe the
essence of an activity.Ground theory also advisable for this research questions.

From a quantitative study of perceptions of first-year college students


regarding technology and college readiness the researcher used three
research questions as listed below:
(a) What implications, if any, does the context of a professional learning
community have on the perceptions of educators regarding the influence upon
the learning community structure, school leadership, and resources during a
1-yearimplementation process? (b) What implications, if any, does the process
of a professional learning community have on the perceptions of educators
regarding the influence upon data-driven decisions, evaluation, research-based
practices, design, learning, and collaboration during a 1- year PLC
implementation process? (c) What implications, if any, does the content of a
professional learning community have on the perceptions of educators
regarding the influence on equity, quality teaching, and family involvement
during a 1 -year PLC implementation process?

This research was conducted utilizing a survey design. This was accomplished
through the use of a descriptive rating, Due to the nature and length of the
study, observations and personal interviews would not have provided the
honesty that the anonymous survey allowed. .

From the research questions the research is best to conduct by the


experimental research design. Because of this design helps to determine and to
concluded the influences by using the scientific methods to establish the
cause-effect relationship among a group of variables that make study.

readiness theresearcher used three research questions as listed below

RQ1) How are decisions (e.g., research questions and practice-site research
tactics) made in PBRNs?

RQ2) What leadership styles and behaviors are exhibited by PBRN directors?

RQ3) What PBRN participant behaviors and characteristics are desirable and
undesirable in achieving PBRN goals?

Hypotheses (H) [Aim 3]

Hypotheses are presented in the conceptual framework in Figure 2 to provide a


graphical representation of text presented here.

H1) Leader directiveness will be positively associated with individual


performance.

H2) Participative decision making will be positively associated with individual


performance.

H3) Activity level of clinician members will be positively associated with


individual performance.

H4) Tenure in PBRN of clinician members will be positively associated with


individual performance.

The researchr used a sequential, exploratory mixed methods design.

From the research questionsa sequential, exploratory design is appropriate for


this research. Bcause sequential, exploratory design is ‘typically use qualitative
result to consist in explaining and interpreting the finding of a primarily
qualitative study”. this design also used to quantitative data and results to
assist in the interpretation of qualitative fiyndings”.
