Re: Dismissal and gift of GH¢300,000.00

i. We act for Lighthouse Chapel International.

ii. A copy of our client’s letter on the above dated 5th January, 2023, together with
your WhatsApp messages in response dated 7 th January, 2023, have been
referred to us with instructions to respond thereto.

iii. By your said WhatsApp text message, you acknowledge that you were given three
jurisdictional dismissal letters by our client. Notwithstanding that, and to your
utmost surprise, or contrary to the normal practice, you were also gifted
GH¢300,000.00.

iv. However, notwithstanding the foregoing, it has come to our client’s notice that your
initial euphoria about the generous gift of GH¢300,000.00 has dissipated and the
same replaced with your goodself going around and unburdening yourself of
gratuitous insults to the church and its leadership.

v. Moreover, you are also now on record as claiming that your dismissal was
wrongful, and you are threatening hell fire and brimstone on the church and its
leadership.

vi. This has also come to our client with much surprise, alarm and concern. If, as you
now allege, that you were wrongfully dismissed, our client would have expected
you to have boldly rejected or refunded the generous “gift” and thereafter maintain
an action to enforce your rights under contract or law.

vii. However, since it appears that you intend to pocket the gift and also maintain a
right to go about badmouthing our client, we are under our client’s instructions to
request that you do forthwith refund the said “gift” to our client without prejudice to
your unfettered right to maintain any cause of action you consider appropriate.

viii. If not, our client will kindly recommend that you let your conscience guide you to
show gratitude and appreciation to our client for its generosity towards you in
circumstances you knew that our client did not owe you a farthing by reason of
your dismissal.
