Relevant Stakeholders for ESG intervetion

(Sutainable Construction)
Camaya Coast’s execution of business activities adhering to sustainable
construction would significantly involve one of its external stakeholders:
construction partner companies (CP). As a supplier of service to the
business, construction partner companies rely on Camaya Coast for a huge
part of their revenue generation (i.e., through handling the construction of
Camaya Coast’s desired facilities and amenities). With this, it is deemed
that they are directly involved with the business' operations.
The other external stakeholder of Camaya Cost would be its customers (C).
They do not have any direct influence or participation in the construction
projects. However, it is this population which is significantly impacted by
the quality of service given through the facilities of Camaya Coast. With
the expansion of resort facilities and amenities realized through
construction, the needs/wants of the customers would be greatly
satisfied.

Lastly, environmentalists and NGOs (EN) are also deemed as relevant

external stakeholders of Camaya Coast. As members of the general
public/community, they are genuinely concerned for the environment (even
if they have no personal gain/direct benefits). With environmental health
put at risk, they have the power and initiative to nudge/compel Camaya
Coast to conduct its operations in a more sustainable manner.

Aside from the said external stakeholders, an identified internal stakeholder

of Camaya Coast is its employees (E). The employees may have no direct
say on the commencement of construction projects; yet, they would be
benefited by the construction projects in the resort since job opportunities
or the need for more staff in such facilities would also increase.

Stakeholder Engagement
As mentioned in the modules, stakeholder engagement is crucial to
the attainment of sustainable development in a business. Thus, for
Camaya Coast to fulfill its objectives of sustainable development,
even in the specific context of sustainable construction, it is
important to identify the impact and influence of its stakeholders
since this would allow for the
appropriate kind of engagement/approach that can
be applied to them.
