Requirements
DEPARTMENT
Distribution Services • BTech or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Professional registration will serve as an advantage
• At least eight (8) years’ appropriate experience, involving
sound working knowledge of relevant legislation, policy
and procedures, at managerial level
SALARY • Mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Coordinate the implementation of the capital and operating

Candidates • Manage the human resources in the pump station section in
order to enhance staff performance, develop skills and ensure
optimum service delivery
• Manage an operational quality management system by
maintaining a quality service
• Manage reticulation water and wastewater pump stations
and conveyance operations by ensuring the maintenance
and operations are carried out in the most efficient and
cost-effective manner
• Manage the performance of all operational functions by
measuring and improving performance
• Manage the implementation of standard operating procedures
by standardising operating systems and processes for
equitable service delivery
• Manage effective communications by enhancing awareness,
share knowledge, expose conditions and promote service delivery
• Manage response to technical enquiries by processing technical
enquiries efficiently.
