SBP in its quest to build and strengthen its institutional capacity is in the process of transforming its Strategic &
Corporate Planning Department into an efficient and proactive Department, fully capable to develop strategic
goals, action plans and tactics, identify future needs of the organization in conformance with set criteria and in
alignment with organizational resources, mission, vision, goals and objectives.

In order to fulfill the above objectives, SBP is looking for experienced and highly motivated individuals in the
areas of Strategic & Corporate Planning.
Senior Joint Director (OG-6)-Coordination
The incumbent will directly report to Director, Strategic & Corporate Planning. As a back-up of Director the
incumbent would be responsable to supervise, coordinate and take initiatives in developing strategic goals,
action plans/ tactics, identify future needs of the organization to ensure that corporate plans are
developed/implemented in conformance with set criteria & in alignment with organizational resources, mission,
vision, goals & objectives.

Job Summary
The key responsibilities will include:
ƒ Supervising the Preparation & Up-dation of SBP Strategic Plans
ƒ Monitoring progress on agreed strategic goals & objectives for the Bank, identify needs and suggest change
management initiatives.
ƒ Organization of Strategic Management Conferences & the follow-up action plans.
ƒ Supervise the preparation, finalization and publishing of SBP Annual Report (Volume-II)
ƒ Supervise the initiation and successful completion of External Stakeholders Satisfaction Survey and ensure
the timely submission of the survey results and circulate a brief on survey results to higher management
through Director, SCPD.
ƒ Coordinate the restructuring/reorganization of SBP-Banking Service Corporation.
ƒ Coordinate with the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) as and when required.
ƒ Act as coordinators on special topics as and when assigned by the management.
Job Qualification
Education: MBA/MPA/Masters Degree in Finance, Commerce or Economics from HEC recognized university
or equivalent with a background of banking/finance would be preferred.
Experience: Minimum 12 years (including 6 years at middle management level) in the field of management,
economics and finance. Previous exposure of developing and implementation of strategic plans at professionally
managed organizations would be preferred.
Joint Director (OG-5)-Coordination
The incumbent will be responsible to supervise the preparation & finalization of Annual Business Plans while
ensuring effective and efficient monitoring of the Business Plans alongside preparation of the departmental
Annual Business & Budget Plans.
Job Summary
The key responsibilities will include:
ƒ Continuous improvement of Business Planning function in the Bank in line with international best practices
ƒ Coordinate & facilitate the preparation of Annual Business Plans for all departments of SBP.
ƒ Ensure an effective and efficient implementation of Business Plans along with quarterly monitoring of the
Development Projects identified in the Annual Business Plans of different departments.
ƒ Preparation of Departmental Business & Budget Plans
ƒ Conduct research to generate / implement new ideas to continuously improve Business Planning function in
the Bank by improving the working methodologies, coordination and monitoring / reporting mechanism.
ƒ Ensure follow up for implementation of decisions taken.
Job Qualification
Education: MBA/MPA/Masters Degree in Finance, Commerce or Economics from HEC recognized university
or equivalent with a background of banking/finance would be preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years (including 5 years at middle management level) in the field of management,
Business Planning & Organizing preferably in the banking sector. Previous exposure of managing a consolidated
organizational business planning process at some professionally managed organization would be preferred.

Joint Director (OG-5)-Business Continuation Plan


This position is responsible to supervise/carry out the Business Continuation Plan related tasks and
responsibilities.

Job Summary
The key responsibilities will include to:
ƒ Overall management and supervision of Business Continuity Program at SBP and SBP-BSC on modern
lines.
ƒ Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that they carry out all the required tests/rehearsals of BCP as
per requirement.
ƒ Coordinate with Information Systems & Technology Department and Engineering Department with regard
to establishment of Disaster Recovery Site.
ƒ Facilitate and monitor the Back-up Site
ƒ Supervise the continuous improvement/up-gradation of BCP Books for SBP departments and BSC field
offices in the light of developments taking place both within and outside the SBP.
ƒ Supervise / Organize the Training & Awareness Programs on BCP.
ƒ Conduct research for improvement in BCP & Supervise consolidation / monitoring BCP of the banking
companies in order to ensure the continuity of their critical functions.
Job Qualification
Education: MBA/MPA/Masters Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science from a reputed
university recognized by HEC.
Experience: Minimum 10 years (including 5 years at middle management level) in the field of management,
Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery Planning & Organizing at some professionally managed
organization.

Compensation Package
ƒ Negotiable monthly monetized salary in the salary scale of OG-5 (Rs.68,000 to Rs.180,000) for OG-6
(Rs.90,000/- to 240,000/-) in commensuration with the experience and qualification of the candidate.
ƒ Free medical facility for self and dependent family members as per Bank’s rules.
ƒ Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Fare Assistance, Staff Loans other facilities as per Bank’s Rules.
Age: Maximum 45 years for OG-5 & 48 years for OG-6 position, on the last date of submission of applications.
Competencies
ƒ Strong report writing/interpersonal/ analytical skills \communication skills.
ƒ Excellent MS Office skill is essential with special command over Financial Modeling.
ƒ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, shared services environment
ƒ Ability to work under pressure and influence others to ensure service is delivered within targets.
ƒ Good team work orientation.
