Introduction (Select Header Style)

The introduction is a description of the background, the theories that underlie the research, the problems
that arise, the objectives and benefits of the research. The sources listed should be primary sources. There are no
pictures or tables in this section. The bibliography is referred to by the year name system and is listed in
alphabetical order. The background of the problem contains the reasons for the importance of research, with
many related journal studies and analysis of the existing problems. Each reference source must be listed.
Example: Environmental pollution, namely the entry or inclusion of living things, substances, energy or
other components into something that results in a decrease in environmental quality, so that it cannot function
properly (Fakhrudin, et al., 2008); Nalina & Womb, 2007) (Select Article Content Style).

Method (Select Header Style)

The research method is written in detail by including the reliable sources used. Schematic tables and
figures are referred to in the text by citing their sources. The independent variables, dependent variables and
research control variables are clearly mentioned in the paragraphs. Sampling methods and samples are explained
well, and the steps or stages of the research are explained in sequence, and the materials and instruments used are
explained complete with specifications.
Example: The tools used in this research are a laboratory-scale bioremediation bioreactor, Shimadzu UV-
Vis 1420 spectrophotometer, colony counter, pH meter, and Perkin Elmer Analyzer atomic absorption
spectrophotometer (SSA). (Select Article Content Style).

Results and Discussion (Select Header Style)

Research results are displayed in the form of tables, graphs or pictures that are representative, attractive
and clearly legible/visible with good image quality and resolution. Each table, graph or figure must be
referenced in the text. Results and Discussion are a unified whole so that each result must be accompanied by a
systematic and in-depth discussion. It is not justified to compile the results and discussion separately in this
article. Discussion of the results can be done by comparing the results obtained with existing theories, or by
comparing them with research results obtained previously by other researchers. Always cite reliable sources for
each discussion that is compiled. The sources of discussion are the latest related journals.
Example: The development of a growth curve was carried out to obtain the optimum time for the log
(exponential) phase of bacteria used before being inoculated in the Pekalongan textile wastewater sediment as a
bioremediation agent. The growth curves of S. aureus, B. subtillis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria are
presented in Figures 1 and 2. (Select Article Content Style). The image format can be seen in Figure 1 and table
format can be seen in Table 1.

Conclusion (Select Header Style)

Conclusions are answers to the questions as research problems, expressed as qualitative and quantitative
aspects of research. Conclusions are arranged in one paragraph in a concise, clear and concise manner and
contain solutions to the problems encountered in the research.
Example of conclusion: The use of exogenous bacteria (S. aureus and B. subtilis) in the bioremediation
of Pb metal in the sediment of the Setu River can be a good bioremediation agent, with the highest percentage of
metal content reduction in the addition of Staphylococcus aureus 20% with a percentage decrease of up to
95.85% The optimum time required for exogenous bacteria (S. aureus and B. subtilis) for each concentration
was an incubation time of 30 days. (Select Article Content Style)

Acknowledgments (Select Header Style)

Acknowledgments are written at the end of the manuscript before the bibliography, usually addressed to
the research funder. It is not recommended to include supervisors or teachers who help with research in this
section. Supervisors and teachers are included in the writing team (coauthors) by listing their respective
affiliations.

References (Select Header Style)

All references in the References must be mentioned in the text and vice versa, all sources cited in the text must
be in the References. The bibliography should be up to date for at least the last 10 years, at least 15
sources. The bibliography contains a minimum number of 80% research journals and the rest are other
sources in the form of books, proceedings, newspapers, or unpublished theses. Bibliography arranged
alphabetically.

towards Streptococcus mutans. Journal of Biochem & Biotech, 3(1):10-5 (Select Bibliography Style)
