This Summer we’re expanding our ESL course. We don’t treat English study as an end, but as a means to an end. Our students use English as a

English Primary and Total English Secondary courses. Our new ESL course takes this one step further and focuses on developing broad
academic, social and cultural awareness, leaving students with broad minds and broad skillsets.

Throughout the course, students are introduced to key ideas in a variety of disciplines – such as coding, social studies, language arts, history,
maths, science, and many more – and along the way learn how to think critically and develop key skills in self-expression. This greatly broadens
their English ability: by not focusing so much on, say, accurate repetitions of language, but instead on working together to complete a task,
students feel less restricted and fluency skills are developed at a very rapid pace. Through the various disciplines students are also exposed to
vocabulary they would ordinarily not come across in more traditional language-teaching programs, and are provided with opportunities to use
this language in creative ways throughout a wide range of STEAM-based learning activities.
