Historical Building Preservation Program

The city of Warrensville is pleased to announce the Historical Building Preservation Program, a
new initiative to remodel and protect older buildings of historical significance in Warrensville.
Last month, our city was given a grant from the federal government to cover the costs of this
type of maintenance.

The city council has met with representatives from the neighboring town of Lanham to get
advice on how they implemented their building preservation plans last year. Challenges and
goals were determined, and it was determined that the first project will be carried out at the
former post office building on Elkview Street. The work will begin there next week, and a
collection of “Before” pictures will be uploaded here on this site shortly after it begins. Others
will be added as the work continues.

We are seeking suggestions from Warrensville residents about which other buildings would
be suitable for this program.

Subject : Client Dinner

Hi,

I’m actually pretty excited to meet and have dinner with our new clients at Namsan
Restaurant next week. I have read a few reviews of Namsan Restaurant, and each one has
been very favorable. Min Joon even said it was the real Korean food he has had since moving
here from Seoul last year. I know that the Arco representatives prefer Korean food when they
have business meetings, so I figured we could try it.

The only problem I am having is getting over to Washington Avenue after work in time.
Namsan Restaurant is not very close to my office, and my car will be in the body shop on
5th Avenue that day. From Alvarez Avenue, I could take the bus, but it might take too long to
reach there. Taking the bus involves a large amount of walking and numerous stops along
the way. I could also take a taxi, but traffic at that time of day is awful. Regardless, I will be
leaving the office early tomorrow, so that I can alleviate some of the delay.

I will get the rest of the arrangements completed in the morning but might not be able to stop
by the print shop to pick up the sales packets I need to hand out during the meeting. By the
way, in the event that I need to jump on the bus to get there, could you let me know what bus
to take to get over to Namsan Restaurant? This would really help me out. Thanks.

Jake Jacobs

Subject: Order details

Attachment: pattern63.jpg

Hi Bruce,

I’ve finished analyzing the customer feedback survey we conducted last month. The results
show that Shaw Furnishings customers may be interested in buying furniture from us as well,
such as sofas and armchairs. Therefore, we are going to do a test run of the furniture set in
April at our San Francisco branch to see how well it sells. If it is popular, we will continue with
a larger batch of items.

For the sofas and armchairs, we will need a durable fabric that can withstand repeated use.
These two items should also be printed in the attached pattern our team has designed. For
the pillows and curtains, the fabric can be thinner, as they will not get as much wear and tear.
The pillows and curtains should be in colors that complement the pattern. For the first batch,
we’ll make 250 units of each item. So, please order 5,000 yards for the sofas, 2,000 yards for
the armchairs, 125 yards for the pillows, and 1,500 yards for the curtains.

Thank you!

I was so surprised and delighted to see that Shaw Furnishings is now selling furniture! I
purchased the sofa from their new furniture line a few days ago, and I’m very satisfied with it.
It has an elegant look, but the price and delivery fees were reasonable. The first night I got it, I
spilled some soda on the seat cushion. I was concerned about staining because some parts of
the pattern are very light in color. Fortunately, it wiped right off because of the stain-resistant
coating on the fabric. I thought that was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this sofa

Bringing music to life!

Wingate Music Association (WMA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching music to young
adults. We believe in the power of music to change lives—especially for people growing up in low-

but cannot afford to buy an instrument. Therefore, we are asking for members of the public to
share their gently used instruments. We can find a well-deserving home for violins, trumpets, and
everything in between.

If you’ve got an instrument that you’d like to give to our program, please contact our program

Subject: Lot 781

Dear Managers,

A vacant lot at Barnar Street and McKinley Avenue (Lot 781) has just come on the market. Although
our company primarily focuses on construction work for clients, this might be a unique opportunity
to create a new revenue stream by building our own office complex to rent out the space and help to
realize our goal of increasing profits by 25% over the next five years. I have invited a representative
from Aceway Realty to our upcoming meeting to spend about twenty minutes answering questions
about the lot 781. This will be done before the main presentations.

Once the facility is open, we could hire a property management firm, which would deal with
recruiting renters and carrying out daily maintenance and repairs. Quandt Property Management
is highly recommended, but their office is out of state, which might make communication difficult.
Goldkey Commercial has fees that are a bit higher, but they are locally owned and operated right
here in Charleston. I look forward to discussing these matters further with you all at the meeting.

Sincerely,

James Percy
