HERBAL TEA SMOOTHIE

Herbal tea provides the liquid base. You can use green tea, hibiscus, rooibos, pu-erh, chamomile,
lavender, pau

d'arco, nettle, echinacea, gingko, peppermint, ho shou wu, chai, or darjeeling. Alternatives for
the seasoning include

cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, a pinch of cayenne, or chai spices.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2

¼ cup dried goji berries or other berries

2 cups water

1 cup herbal tea blend of your choice, brewed for three minutes

¼ cup cashews, soaked

1 tablespoon raw honey

1 tablespoon raw cacao or carob powder (optional)

1 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

1 cup ice

1. Soak the dried goji berries in 1 cup water for 20 minutes.

2. Add remaining ingredients into the blender. As mixture is blending, gradually add in the goji
berries and their

soak water and continue blending until smooth.
