 Geographical
location
The territory of Ukraine lies in the temperate climate
zone of the Northern Hemisphere. Within its boundaries,
three physical and geographical zones are clearly visible:
forest, forest-steppe, and steppe, and in the Carpathians
and the Crimean Mountains, there is an altitudinal zone.
Physical and geographical zones of Ukraine change
noticeably from west to east.

Ukraine is one of the largest countries in Europe. Its

area is 603.7 thousand square kilometers. In terms of size,
wool exceeds such countries as France, Spain, etc. In
general, the territory of the state is stretched from west to
east by 423 km more than from north to south. In terms of
the number of inhabitants (45.6 million), Ukraine is
inferior in Europe to Germany, France, Great Britain and
Italy.

 Сlimate
The climate of Ukraine is determined by its
geographical location. The territory of Ukraine lies in the
temperate zone. In general, the climate of the country is
moderately continental, subtropical only on the southern
coast of Crimea. Differences in climate are due to many
factors: latitude, relief, height above sea level and
proximity to seas and oceans. A characteristic feature of
the climate is the strengthening of its continentality from
west to east. A feature of Ukraine's climate is significant
fluctuations in weather conditions from year to year.
Along with very wet years, there can be droughts, the
impact of which increases in the south and east. Frequent
weather fluctuations are observed in the regions of
Crimea and the Carpathians.

 Symbols
Flag
The colors of the State Flag of Ukraine are blue and
yellow. From time immemorial, Ukrainian land has been
an agricultural region. The blue sea or the sky above the
golden level is the meaning that is currently included in
the colors of the State Flag of Ukraine.
State coat of arms of Ukraine
The Great State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, according to
Article 20 of the Constitution of Ukraine, is established
taking into account the small State Coat of Arms, as its
main element, and the coat of arms of the Zaporizhzhya
Army, and is approved by at least two-thirds of the
constitutional composition of the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine.
National Anthem of Ukraine
The national anthem of Ukraine is one of the main state
symbols of Ukraine along with the flag and coat of arms.
The national anthem is the first verse and chorus of the
song "Ukraine is not dead yet, and Glory and Will" lyrics
by Pavel Chubynskyi, music by Mykhailo Verbytskyi.

 People
Ukrainians are a Slavic people, the main and
autochthonous population of Ukraine, the largest ethnic
community on its territory. How the ethnos was formed
on the lands of modern Ukraine and parts of the adjacent
lands of modern Poland, Belarus, Moldova, Romania,
Hungary, Slovakia and the Russian Federation. Outside
Ukraine, they live in Canada, the USA, Poland, Brazil,
Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, the Czech Republic, Great
Britain and many other countries. The total population
exceeds 46 million people. 37 million of them live in
Ukraine. Most Ukrainians speak the Ukrainian language,
which belongs to the East Slavic language group.
According to religious affiliation, they are Christians.
Until the 20th century, the self-name Rus, Ruthenians,
and Cossacks were used.

 Traditions
Christmas
During the Christmas holidays in Ukraine, carols are
sung, children perform Christmas carols going from house
to house and wish the owners of these houses peace and
prosperity. They sing Christmas carols at the table,
remembering all the good things that happened during the
last year and wish each other health and happiness.
Easter
It is customary not to sleep on the night before Easter,
everyone goes to church the night before. People bring
various dishes in a basket for consecration to the church
and when they return home, it's time to break the fast to
enjoy delicacies. It is customary to start the holiday with
Easter bread.
Ivany Kupala
On this day, brave people jump over fire, and at
midnight people look for a fern flower to get a glimpse
into the future and find untold riches. Girls make wreaths
from wild flowers. They are released into the water and
observed: if the wreath floats, the girl will get married this
year, if it sinks, no.

 Food
Among the first impressions for all the visitors who
come to Ukraine is its national food. Ukrainian cuisine is
diverse and unique. It has a rich history and is very
popular in Slavic countries. There are a lot of tasty dishes
in Ukrainian cuisine but the most famous one is perhaps
the borscht. It is a vegetable soup, made of beets,
cabbage, tomatoes, carrots and potatoes. They also add
garlic, onion, dill and meat.

Also, the national dishes of Ukraine are varenyky,

golubtsi, derun, Kyiv-style cutlet, jelly, nalysniki, etc.

 Clothes
The main varieties of Ukrainian folk clothes
Male:
A shirt made of coarse cloth with an embroidered collar
or neckline.
Wide linen or cloth trousers.
A wide girdle (belt) with intricate patterns, which was
fastened with hooks.

Female:
Shirt with embroidery on the neck, cuffs, sleeves and
bottom. Young girls wore them without outerwear, girded
with a belt.
Zhupan is a traditional outfit of married women.

 Professions
Programmers
The first rung of the rating is quite predictable today.
Mastering a programming language means mastering the
language that the whole world speaks. Graduated programmers
can now find a good, high-paying job in a prestigious company
both in Ukraine and abroad.

Designers
Designer is now one of the most popular and desired
professions. But there will always be a place under the sun for a
highly qualified specialist with creative thinking. Interior and
exterior design, landscape design, web, fashion design.

Marketers
These are specialists who must be able to present the product
in such a way that a potential client or consumer wonders how
he lived without it before. A rather difficult, but very popular
and in-demand profession everywhere, especially such a
direction as Social Media Marketing (SMM) and content
marketing.

Managers of the hotel and tourist industry

First of all, it should be noted that our country has a huge
potential for the development of tourism. More and more
international companies are now appearing on the tourism
market of Ukraine, which also need decent personnel.
