AN EXECUTIVE ORDER ADOPTING THE INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM (ICS) AS MODE OF

OPERATION RESPONSE DURING TIMES OF EMERGENCIES AND DISASTERS

WHEREAS, Republic Act (RA) 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Act of 2010 mandates the creation of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Council (LDRRMC) in every local government unit all over the country;

WHEREAS, the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) serves
as the lead group in the planning of the different plans and projects in the disaster
management aspect of the city;

WHEREAS, the city is susceptible to different natural and human-induced disasters;

NOW THEREFORE, by the powers vested in my by law, I, JOSEPH GEORGE L.

LECHONSITO, MD, DPA, City Mayor of the City of Tacurong, do hereby order the adoption of
the Incident Command System (ICS) as the mode of operation response during times of
emergencies and disasters;

This order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in force unless amended
and/or rescinded by competent authority.

Done this _____ day of ___________, 2022 in City of Tacurong, Province of Sultan
Kudarat.
