Commercial Finance Analyst| Hyper-Growth Beverage Brand | London

Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth beverage business in


their search for a Finance Analyst to join their growing team to specialise in
marketing and pricing analytics.

Having doubled revenue in 2022 as a result of an uptake in sales and a period of


sustained fast growth, our client who is an all-natural FMCG business are looking to
hire a Commercial Finance Analyst. In this role, you will be working closely between
the Sales & Operations on trade sales and trade promotions and to build out the
commercial finance branch of the team.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with a wider commercial
finance team of six, you will have the autonomy to lead the financial analysis of the
business’s marketing and pricing functions. The role involves working closely with the
Finance Director and partnering with the marketing teams to look to improve
profitability through accurate finance modelling and variance analysis.

Our client is looking for a detail-orientated, organised and highly driven individual
who will work closely with the Commercial team in managing their financial risks and
opportunities. You will provide monthly performance management information and
analysis, raise challenges and drive actions with a continuous improvement mindset.

The team is a robust and dynamic cohort with a brilliant office based in North
London with the ability to work remotely at least twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Period Close & Reporting and balance sheet reconciliations


• Delivering financial performance insight in business meetings through
both written and verbal communication with the purpose of driving
improved business decision-making.
• Financial Analysis: Provide decision support and advice. Analysis
performed will be across the P&L and Balance sheet.
• Budgeting & Forecast: Prepare periodic forecast and demand forecasts in
line with the group timetable.
• Business Partnering: Provide high-quality decision support through
financial reporting and analysis & improve the financial outcomes for the
business.
• Analysing ROI for marketing and pricing.
• Financial reporting, such as variance analysis.
Essential qualities

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA finalist
• Minimum 2 years PQE preferable in FMCG
• Relevant commercial and management reporting experience, including
significant exposure to senior business leaders
• Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to
bring together diverse data and information and form sound judgments
and insights.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Study Support + Bonus

Location: London (hybrid)
