A Inspection Items - General
1 Hydrant is accessible and free of obstructions
2 Clean the hydrant surface by removing dust and salt
3 Corrosion inspection for hydrant surface and painting
B Inspection Items - Landing Valve 1
1 Clean and lubricate landing valve cap and cap latch releaser
2 Check water leakages from landing Valve Seal
3 Check easy operation of landing valve
4 Open landing valve fully and check the static pressure
Check water leakages between spindle and gland nut when

landing valve is in fully open position
6 Clean each valve spindle and lubricate
7 Flush the hydrant until water is clear
C Inspection Items - Landing Valve 2
1 Clean and lubricate landing valve cap and cap latch releaser
2 Check water leakages from landing Valve Seal

4 Open landing valve fully and check the static pressure
