E.
Job Set-up

□ E.1. Comply with the general safety instructions for the navigation systems ( AMM 34-00-00,3-
1 ).

□ E.2. Remove the pitot port blanking cap [ 703A92-0201-00 ] and the static port blanking caps
[ 703A92-0205-04 ] if installed.

□ E.3. Dry the air data systems ( AMM 34-10-00,3-1 ).

□ E.4. Make sure that all the navigation components are connected.

NOTE
The static port blanking caps [ 703A92-0205-04 ] and the pitot port blanking cap [ 703A92-
0201-00 ] are in the helicopter equipment items.

F.
Procedure

□ F.1. Total pressure system sealing test

NOTE
This check is applicable for the version with a second anemometer installed.

NOTE
Close the water drain holes if the ports have them.

□ a. Connect the anemometer additional test unit [ 703A97-7210-00 ] to the portable test
bench [DPI610E] and the Pitot tube.

□ b. Gradually apply the pressure.

□ c. During the pressure increase, make sure that the 120 kt graduation of the
anemometer and that indicated on the portable test bench [DPI610E] correspond.

□ d. Block the pressure when the helicopter indicates a speed of 170 kt.

NOTE
During this test do not take into account the indication displayed on the vertical speed
indicator.

□ e. Make sure that the speed indicated on the helicopter anemometer does not decrease
by more than 5 kt in a minute.

□ f. If necessary, adjust the pressure to set the indicator needle to 170 kt.

□ g. Disconnect the anemometer additional test unit [ 703A97-7210-00 ] from the portable
test bench [DPI610E].

□ h. Make sure that the anemometer needle decreases to the 40 kt graduation in 4

seconds maximum.

□ i. Disconnect the anemometer additional test unit [ 703A97-7210-00 ] from the Pitot tube.

□ F.2. Sealing test for the basic static pressure system

CAUTION
LIMIT THE NEGATIVE PRESSURE RATE TO A MAXIMUM OF +1000 FT/MIN DURING
PRESSURIZATION AND TO A MAXIMUM OF -1000 FT/MIN DURING
DEPRESSURIZATION.

NOTE
This check is applicable for the version with a second anemometer installed.

□ a. Bond Adhesive tape CM 714 on the RH static port.

□ b. Connect the anemometer additional test unit [ 703A97-7210-00 ] to the portable test
bench [DPI610E] and to the LH static port.

□ c. Set the helicopter altimeter to 0 ft.

□ d. Apply sufficient negative pressure so that the vertical speed indicator indicates +1000
ft/min.

e. Record
10-00,5-1A (2022-07-03) B3 the value indicated by the altimeter, when the test unit indicator passes 105 kt.

□ f. Make sure that this value is more than 380 ft.

NOTE
The test consists in making sure that with a vertical speed indication of 1000 ft/min, the
altimeter delay is less than 120 ft.

CAUTION
LIMIT THE NEGATIVE PRESSURE RATE TO THE MAXIMUM VALUE OF THE
ANEMOMETER, IF THIS IS THE FIRST INDICATION REACHED.

□ g. Simulate an altitude of 1000 ft with the portable test bench [DPI610E] and block the
negative pressure.

□ h. Make sure that the altitude displayed on the helicopter altimeter is more than or equal
to 700 ft after one minute.

□ i. Slowly release the negative pressure.

□ j. Disconnect the anemometer additional test unit [ 703A97-7210-00 ].

□ k. Remove the Adhesive tape CM 714 from the RH static port.

□ F.3. Sealing test for the basic static pressure system with ports on the tail boom

NOTE
This check is applicable for the version with a second anemometer installed.

□ a. Bond Adhesive tape CM 714 on the static ports on the tail boom.

□ b. Remove the filter end-fittings located in the tail boom at the ends of the lower lines.

□ c. Connect the anemometer additional test unit [ 703A97-7210-00 ] in place of the filter
end-fittings and connect the portable test bench [DPI610E].

□ d. Set the helicopter altimeter to 0 ft.

□ e. If the system is equipped with an emergency cock, make sure it is set to the
Printed from"NORMAL"
ORION H125 -position.
