Details of the Assignment

PRESENTATION ON VIDEO ADVERTISEMENT (20%)

1. Select ONE (1) company (e.g., McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Lego, etc.) that promotes its company via
video advertisement. You are only allowed to choose ONE (1) advertisement made by the chosen
company. Video advertisement is still relevant and powerful as it can be publicized from television to
internet webpage. With the current technology, video advertisements are more uniquely designed.

2. Do some research on the company chosen in order to present on the following issues:

 Briefly describe the product or the services in the advertisement.


 Explain why the video advertisement is interesting enough to catch your group’s attention.
 Discuss the values communicated through the video advertisement and how they reflect the
company’s values as well.
 Discuss about the use of appeals in the advertisement.

3. Any relevant information can be added for the presentation.

4. Prepare a 10-minute presentation slideshow (PowerPoint/Prezi etc.) for on the criteria above.

5. Your group presentation will take place during the class where the presentation slideshow will be
projected using the shared screen.

6. The chosen video advertisement must be played before the presentation starts (excluded from the 10-
minute presentation duration).
