Duties and Responsibilities
 Maintain and Apply Knowledge of Current health and safety Policies, regulations, and industrial Processes
 Review plans, specifications and certifications for the new machinery and equipment to make sure that they meet
safety requirements before being put in use
 Install safety devices on machinery or direct the installation of these devices like secondary retention
 Issuing Tool Box Talk (TBT) before any operation on Rig to make sure everyone involved on the job knows

 Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery and safety equipment on regular basis

 Working on updating and closing action points issued by internal/external audits or Hazard Hunts.

 Keeping Lifting equipment, Temporary pipework and Well control Registers.
 Managing and supervise the Stop card system
 Managing and supervise Emergency Drills and increase people awareness about procedures and escape routes
