Abstract:

In this paper, we investigated a new photonic crystal fiber with core infiltrated
by carbon disulfide liquid. By using Lumicar Mode Solutions simulation
software, we studied the characteristics of this photonic crystal fiber as
effective mode area, dispersion and loss. From there we determined the
optimal characteristic parameters for supercontinuum generation.
