SYED SALMAN AHMED


OBJECTIVE
I have served PAF KIET as one of its Director for nine and half years where I was
responsible for overall managing the various aspects and functions of one of its key
campus. My job responsibilities include formulation & execution of policies and
procedures for effective and efficient working. In the past I have served Pakistan Air
Force in uniform for 25½ years. Among these 25½ years, for almost over 16 years I
worked at Senior Management Positions where I have been extensively involved in
planning, analyzing, direction, and coordination. I have been the key person in the
change management and modernization of human resource management practices
within PAF as well as PAF KIET. Additionally, have undertaken and implemented
various extensive exercises, including strategic manpower planning, human capital
need analysis based on functional tasks at various levels, training need analysis,
compensation practices adjustments, bulk recruitment processes, strategic
succession planning, work environment analysis and code of ethics implementation.
Additionally, I have approximately 23 years of teaching experience in the field of
Management Sciences, Engineering & Law. Among these 23 years, apart from being
a senior faculty member, for almost over 16 years I worked in parallel at Senior
Management Positions where I have been extensively involved in planning,
analyzing, direction, and coordination. Now I intend to deliver constructively what I
have learned, and in the process, contribute meaningfully to the organization and
pursue my career and interests.
