Kan-COR Chlorinated Rubber Metal Primer

Product description
Kan-COR CR Metal Primer is based on unmodified chlorinated rubber resin. When used in combination with CR topcoats, the coating
system exhibits exceptional water impermeability, resistance to salt spray, spillage and fumes of most acids, salt solutions, alkalis,
bleaching agents and corrosive gases.

Recommended use
CR Concrete Primer is designed for adhesion to metal surfaces where exposure to chemicals, acids and alkalis is required. It is
frequently specified in fertilizer plants, plating shops, gas works, paper mills, exteriors of chemical storage tanks and areas subject to
high humidity and condensation.

Surface Preparation
For good adhesion surface should be clean, dry and free from any contamination. Suitably sand blast to 2.5 or power tool cleaned M.S
Descaled Steel.

Condition during application

Do not apply at temperature below 10oC or if the Relative humidity exceeds 85% or within 3oC of the Dew Point.

Application Methods
Brush, roller, air assisted or airless spray. Apply evenly 2 coats of CR Primer on the surface providing Dry Film Thickness of 50
micrometers. Now apply 2 coats of CR Finish on CR primed Surface providing Dry Film Thickness of 50 micrometers.

Storage
The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away
from sources of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed. Handle with care.
