The document summarizes the light up and synchronization activities for a power plant unit on 09/12/2022. It details the starting of various pumps, fans, and equipment from 2:10 PM until synchronization at 12:12 PM. Key steps included filling the boiler, starting coal and oil firing, building vacuum, charging steam seals and turbines, and synchronizing the unit to the grid at 12:12 PM. Notes at the end provide operational guidance for the startup process.

Close bottom ring header filling valve before starting MDBFP.
Charge ESP fields on taking first coal mill Maintain seal oil temperature @ 39 DC. Take coal mill on reaching HRH pressure 3.0 kg/cm2 to avoid reheater starvation. Charge HPLP on reaching vacuum 0.3 kg/cm2 or -7000 mmwcl. Charge LPHtrs @ load <= 100 MW. Flush and Charge HPH >= 200 MW. Open PRDS drains and charge PRDS. Raise deaerator temperature to 75 DC by pegging deaerator. Condition MS temperature 50 DC more than HPT highest temperature by HPLP. After synchronising close HPLP bypass, close turbine side drains and withdraw oil guns as set stabilises. Take tie GCB breaker in service. Take Set on load control and then charge UATs. TDBFP casing temperature should be >=120 DC. Give Ramp up OLC schedule 3 blocks earlier to synchronisation time for each two blocks Gen Side 50, 75, 100, 125 and exten Ensure LOT, PWT and H2 temperatures after synchronsation.
