1: From the past events occured you should know that you have to pay big cost for
the neglegance in health and safety.
2: You have to pay all the bills of hospital on the behalf of your injured worker.
3: You should hire a new worker for the timebeing in the place of that injured
worker and have to pay him aswell.
4: you have to compansate the injured worker by paying him some extra amount.
5: you have to pay to legal advisor for the legal act that can occur to you by
injured worker.
6: You have to pay fines to inspactor for your poor health and safety policy
7: you have to pay for the damaged that occured during that colllosion.

Task 3: Managing Contractors

Site management have accepted your proposed health and safety improvement solution
to segregate FLTs and the workers. They have made the budget available. The
organisation intends to use external contractors for the work.

When selecting the external contractors, what would you consider when assessing
their competence?

1: we will ask contractor to show his qualification to ensure that he is eligible

or not for that work.
2: we ask the contractor to visit the area and make a health and safety piloicy.
3: we should ask him to identify all the hazards that can took place in that area.
4: we should check the previous record of that contractors to ensure that he do
work as per safety requirment.
5: We should ask him to gave us his health and safety policy.
6: we should ask him to warn his workers about all the hazards that can took place.
7: we should ask him to gave all protective equipment that must be needed to done
the work.
8: we should discuss all legal requirnments and policies about that work.
9: we can also ask them to show thier previous record so we can see how they deal
with things.

To satisfy the expectations of the Inspector, you have developed a formal safety
management system in line with ISO 45001.

Based on the scenario only, what are the likely benefits to the organization of
having this formal safety management system?

save the money that is spended to deal it.

benfit in productivity.
