1 Opening Prayer

The meeting was opened with opening prayers and a reflection from the All
Sunday Gospel Matthew 13 : 1-23

2 Ministry Retreat

Andrew and Anne encourage all of us to go for the Ministry Retreat from All
31st Aug 2023 (7.30pm) to 3rd Sept 2023 (5pm) at SFX Seminary Punggol,
cost $180. Retreat master is Fr Terence Pereira. Theme : Of Gratitude
and Graciousness.

2 Accounts

2.1 The accounts as of May is $2,760.32. The Balance of the account is low
due to the donations to the 100 years SSCC.

2.2 The total amount in the bank is $2,760.32. This will be transferred to Fr
Damien Society LLP who is the agent in holding the accounts.)

3 19th July visiting Batam – Punggor/Sekupang kindergartens

3.1 Fr Rusdi, Anne, Hazeline and Charissa are going to Batam to give the 6
months allowance to the kindergarten.

4 Sponsorship of 22 Rempang students

4.1 Chris requested Anne to put the request of sponsorship of 22 Rempang Anne
students in the chat group for response.

5 Packing donated stuffs for Philippines

5.1 The packing of donated stuffs to Philippines is on 22 nd July 2023 Saturday All
at St Andrews room at 11.45am.

6 Fr Rusdi’s sacerdotal

6.1 Anne requested all to attend Fr Rusdi’s sacerdotal on 19 th Aug 2023, All
hence, there will be no meeting in August.

7 Any Other Matter

7.1 Use What’s app to send FDS minutes

Anne suggested to send minutes via What’s app as some FDS members
have replied and read the minutes.

Chris said he prefer via email as it is sensitive to send via What’s app.

Charissa suggested FDS members to choose either one so as to save the

storage space in handphone.

Andrew said it is easier to search for the minutes if we are just using one
platform to send the minutes.

All agreed to send minutes via email and Charissa will inform FDS
Charissa
members that she has sent the minutes to them via What’s app.

7.2 Recruit New Members

Fr Rusdi would like to meet Arnus (communion minister) and Desmond

(Fire safety officer) first before they join us. Fr Rusdi

7.3 Outsiders to join FDS Year End Party

Anne said there is a man name Steven from Risen Christ church would
like to join the Year End Party at Batam but Andrew is skeptical about it
and disagree to let outsiders to join in the Year End Party at Batam.

The next meeting will be on 16th Sept via Zoom.
