WHY THIS PROGRAM?

With the rise of automation and technology in the industrial sector, there is an increasing demand for
skilled professionals in the field of industrial safety. Companies are looking for individuals who have
knowledge and expertise in areas such as risk management, safety audits, and compliance with safety
regulations. The Indian government has implemented several regulations and laws related to industrial
safety in recent years, and this trend is expected to continue. This has also led to an increase in demand
for professionals who can help companies comply with these regulations.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

It is a 10 months program tailor made to meet the requirements to become an exceptional
industrial safety professional by enhancing the core competencies. The curriculum is designed
based on the HSE requirements that are covered from a wide spectrum of international and national
legislation.

The program is delivered in a blended learning format of self-learning, live sessions from expert faculty
members, case study discussions and real life problem solving.

LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM

The objective of this program is to develop professionally qualified and trained professionals to handle
Health, Safety and Environment issues at workplace and shall have the following competencies:

1. To look after the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects with knowledge and expertise in HSE
management systems, safe handling of materials and machinery, safe work practices, operational
controls and to establish and improve emergency action procedure
2. To be responsible for compliance of all legal and other obligations of the organization
3. To guide and assist the site managers / engineers to make their sites safe and accident free
4. To train personnel in safety, undertake safety surveys and design suitable documents for
recording and promoting safety at the work place
5. To establish the learning experience within the context of industrial application, thus enabling the
integration of theoretical knowledge and understanding with best industrial practice in health,
safety and environmental sustainability

TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Our teaching methodology is a 3 pronged approach:
- Live Classes from Expert Faculty: Our expert faculty members take session on each subject that
is delivered through live webinar sessions mostly on weekends. Students from India as well as
Abroad join these sessions. Key concepts, case studies and real life examples are discussed.
Students also get chance to clarify their doubts / academic clarifications. If by any chance they
miss these live classes, the recorded sessions are uploaded in the LMS
- Case Studies: The program has in-built short quizzes and opportunity to solve real life problems.
These case studies give insight into implementing management concepts in real world
- Discussion Forums: Faculty members involve students on contemporary topics / issues in highly
engaging discussions where the focus is to remain updated with latest in industry and our views
or opportunity in them

PROGRAM DELIVERY SCHEDULE

The program duration is 10 months. The program is delivered in a blended learning format that includes
self-learning supported by our customized Learning Management Platform, instructor led live sessions
and real life experience through dissertation.

- On enrolment each student would be provided with access to our LMS for e-Learning content
- Classes will be conducted on weekends; 24 classes would be given

 o Each class duration would be around 1.5 hours
o Classes would include concepts teaching + case study discussions
- Students to participate in discussion forums as and when scheduled by the faculty members

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

- Dedicated Program Managers: Each learner would be associated with a program manager to
share or seek any query and feedback through call ore mail. All such queries will be responded
within 24 hours.
- 24x7 Helpdesk: Just raise a ticket on any issue and get response almost on real time except
weekends. We encourage students to use this facility.
