I. PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to provide the general description of the spare parts and consumable ma-
terials that GE and GE suppliers ship to the site for steam turbine start up. Note that the spare parts and
consumable materials may vary depending on project scope. Information provided in this document is for
customer reference in the early stage of project execution.

The guidance and instruction presented in this document is generally applicable to steam turbines manu-
factured by General Electric. Since these product lines are evolving and new models are being introduced,
some turbine configurations may have additional or different spare part requirements than those described
in this document.

Commissioning and continuous operation activities may require additional spare parts not listed in this
document. These may be purchased separately. Contact the GE Project Manager for a project specific
spare parts list and quotation.

A typical consumables and spare parts list is provided in Table 1.
