COURSE OUTCOMES
After completion of this course, the students/learners should be able to:
CO1: Understand in-vitro pharmacology and physiological salt solutions, the effect of drugs on isolated frog heart, the effect of drugs on
blood pressure and heart rate.
CO2: Study diuretic activity of drugs, clinical studies, the effect of physostigmine and atropine on DRC of acetylcholine.
CO3: Perform the bioassay of histamine by matching method, oxytocin by the interpolation method and acetylcholine four-point bioassay.
CO4: Recall calculation in pharmacological experiments and Effect of spasmogens and spasmolytics.
CO5: Determine the PA2 value of prazosin and PD2 value using guinea pig ileum.
CO6: Demonstrate analgesic, Anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergic activity of drugs.
