IPCC report warns of unavoidable multiple climate hazards

 The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report has the

unavoidable multiple climate hazards over the next two decades with
global warming of 1.5°C.

leading to additional, severe impacts, some of which will be irreversible.

 NITI Aayog is in the process of developing a National Gender Index.

 The information was released in the Annual Report 2021-22 of NITI Aayog.
 यह जार्कारी र्ीडत आयोग की वाडषनक ररपोटन 2021-22 में जारी की गई है ।

Objective of National Gender Index

 It shall measure the progress and identify the persisting gaps in gender
equality to make informed policy decisions.
 यह प्रगडत को मापेगा और सूडचत र्ीडतगत डर्र्न य ले र्े के डलए लैं डगक समार्ता में डर्रं तर
अंतराल की पहचार् करे गा।
 It will serve as a tool to map the progress of India’s States and UTs on

 India is ranked 3rd in terms of most number of billionaires’ population

globally in 2021, as per the Knight Frank’s latest edition of The Wealth
Report 2022.

अरबपडतयों की आबादी की सबसे अडिक संख्या के मामले में भारत तीसरे स्थार् पर है ।
 The list has been topped by the United States (748) and China (554)
respectively.
 इस सूची में िमशः संयुक्त राज् अमेररका (748) और चीर् (554) शीषन पर है ।
 The number of ultra-high-net-worth-individuals (UHNWIs) in India
increased by 11% YoY in 2021 to 145 billionaires, the highest percentage
growth in Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
  भारत में अल्ट्र ा-हाई-र्ेट-वथन-इं डिडवजुअि (UHNWI) की संख्या 2021 में 11% सालार्ा
बढ़कर 145 अरबपडतयों हो गई, जो एडशया प्रशां त (APAC) क्षेत्र में उच्चतम प्रडतशत वृल्सि है ।
 UHNWIs are individuals with net assets of US$ 30m or more (Rs 226 crore).

at 17.1% to 352 billionaires.

 India has slipped three spots from 2021’s 117 to rank 120 on the 17
Sustainable Development Goals adopted as a part of the 2030 agenda by
192 United Nations member states in 2015.

 With the latest rankings, India is now behind all south Asian nations except
Pakistan, which stands at 129.

Implementation, Telangana has ranked the highest in India among states
with a population over 1 crore in terms of growth rate in terms of Per Capita
Net State Domestic Product at current prices.

Mercom India Research, India installed a record 10 GW of solar capacity
during the calendar 2021.

 For the second consecutive year, India has been termed as ‘partly free’
country in terms of democracy and free society, according to the annual
report titled “Freedom in the World 2022 – The Global Expansion of
Authoritarian Rule” by Freedom House, a US-based NGO that ‘assesses
political rights and civil liberties’.

 The report has been published every year since 1973 to assess political
rights and civil liberties of a country through a series of surveys and analyses.

Mission Indradhanush: Odisha tops list of full immunization with 90.5% cove

  Odisha becomes the only state in the country to achieve 90.5% of
immunization apart from the successful vaccination against Covid-19
infection under Mission Indradhanush 4.0.

 20 districts of Odisha were found above 90% in full immunization and the
remaining 10 districts were less than 90%.

in South Asia, as per the study conducted by International Finance
Corporation (IFC) and Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

 According to data, there was an increase in the percentage of women who are
independent directors on listed companies from 5% in 2020 to 6%, despite
COVID-19.

February this year, exhibiting a positive growth of 25.41 per cent over the
same period last year.

जो डपछले वषन की इसी अवडि की तु लर्ा में 25.41 प्रडतशत की सकारात्मक वृल्सि दशान ता है ।
 The Commerce and Industry Ministry said that the country’s overall
exports in April to February 2021-22 are estimated to be over 601 Billion
dollar, exhibiting a positive growth of over 36 per cent over the same
period last year.
