BARANGAY RESOLUTION REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTA
N C E   F R O M HON. LOREN B. LEGARDA, CONGRESSWOMAN, LONE DISTRICT
OF ANTIQUE,F O R   T H E   C O M P L E T I O N   O F   M U L T I -
PURPOSE COVERED COURT IN THEAMOUNT OF THREE 
M I L L I O N   P E S O S   ( P H P   3 , 0 0 0 , 0 0 0 . 0 0 )   A T   B A R A N G A Y AMPAR
O, PATNONGON, ANTIQUE.

WHEREAS,article II of the constitution particularly section 5 calls for the promotion of general
welfare for the enjoyment of all people of the blessings of democracy;

WHEREAS, section 17 of the local government code calls for the provision of basic
services and facilities for the efficient and effective promotion of the general
welfare of the people;

WHEREAS,  t h e   I n t e r n a l   R e v e n u e   A l l o t m e n t   ( I R A )   s h a r e   o f   t h e   b a r a n
g a y   i s   n o t sufficient enough to sustain the target development plans intended for
the promotion of thewelfare of the inhabitants;

WHEREAS, there is a need to look and entreat assistance from other agencies to support the
needs of the barangay for an efficant, effective and efficient implementation of the
basicfacilities;

WHEREAS,multi-purpose covered court serve the community a standard of care

where people of all ages and skill levels can enjoy a variety of activities and amenities aimed ate
nhancing learning and enjoyment;

WHEREAS,there has been a common clamor of constituent especially the youth that

the barangay could be provided fund assistance for the completion of multi-purpose covered
court togive them a more convenient  and appropriate facility as venue for the
enhancement of their skills and extra curricular activities, including sports and arts
development; 

WHEREAS, the following are the project and goals in the Completion of Multi-PurposeCovered
Court;

 To established an appropriate and convenient facility as and the venue for the
enhancement of skills and talents of the youth;

 To promote strong engagement of the youth to sports, fitness and arts;

 To provide conductive venue for training and symposium to t
h e   d i f f e r e n t associations regarding social, economic, and moral awareness;

 To provide facility to provide shelter and accommodate evacuees in

t i m e s o f   calamities;

 To serve as venue for other social and civic-oriented events 
o f   b o t h   t h e constituent and other sectors in the community;
WHEREAS,this facility is very obviously very vital to the youth. This will protect andcomfort
them against heat of the sun and rains as they perform and achieve their daily
sportsactivities. This will lead them to attain self-discipline as they will find it more
convenient anda d v a n t a g e o u s t o h a v e t h e i r o w n p l a c e w i t h i n t h e b a r a n g a y , t o
e n h a n c e t h e i r c a p a b i l i t i e s a s learning and growing individuals within the
confines and guidance of their parents. Thus theimportance of proper maintenance
and supervision of the structure that it will be protected against destruction and abusive
actions as well as against natural disaster.

NOW THEREFORE,on motion presented by  be it;

ESOLVED,a s   i t   i s   h e r e b y   r e s o l v e d   t o   r e q u e s t   f i n a n c i a l   a s s
i s t a n c e   f r o m Hon. Loren B. Legarda, Congresswoman, Lone District of Antique, for the
completion of Multi-Purpose Covered Court in the amount of Three Million Pesos (Php
3,000,000.00) at BarangayAmparo, Patnongon, Antique.

RESOLVED FURTHER  t o   e n t r e a t   a s s i s t a n c e   f r o m   t h e   o f f i c e   o f   t h
e   M a y o r , Hon. Evohn Nee B. Baldestamon for her endorsement;

, to furnish a copy of this resolution to the office of the Mayor,Patnongon, Antique and the office
of the Congresswoman, Hon. Loren B. Legarda, Lone Districtof Antique for their information,
consideration and guidance of appropriate action.
